Where is it? *2025-11-22, version 4018.1.1* Have been using this bank for a while hasnt been too bad until the day i misplaced my debit card, thinking i could just lock it throught the app like every other banking app i was terribly mistakened when i thought i did find the feature after 20 minutes of looking through the most confusing settings i found a way to access my card through the alerts section i then pressed “manage card authorization” the app then told me after PRESSING THE OPTION THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME tells me thats i dont have ??permission?? to view the page then i called the bank to see if there was an option to lock it over the phone then it the automated voice told me to download “card vallet” opened the app felt sketchy as soon as I as opened it then went on to put in my card information and bank information just to be told that everything im putting in is wrong(all info coming straight from the actual banking app)but after backing out the app and coming back shows me that it recognized the bank because the design of the card was shown like i logged in successfully already ### 1/5 — Can’t pay my full mortgage *2025-04-07, version 4016.1.2* Terrible that I can’t pay my full mortgage in one payment and they force me to do two. ### 1/5 — Hate it *2022-09-01, version 4002.1.2* Planning on closing my account after being a member for over 20 years, and the only reason is because I absolutely hate this new app. Previously it would show you all pending transactions, especially when you would use your card, and it was instantaneous, now it’s days. I lived in the area so going to the bank was never a hassle but I have moved out of state and had decided to continue being a member, having my payroll deposited there, and continue to pay my bills, I highly rely on the app to show me my most up to date transactions and deposits. Leaving out of state didn’t make me want to close my account but this app did. ✌️out SCU, it’s not me it’s you, thanks for the memories 💸💸💸 ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2022-08-10, version 3023.4.0* I love this bank, but the app is so terrible that I think I might need to find a new credit union. EVERY SINGLE TIME I try to mobile deposit a check, I am PLAGUED with error messages, and frequently have to go out of my way to drive to a branch to deposit a check. Just now I am trying to deposit a check via the app. As I am trying to take a photo of the front of the check, I am immediately confronted with an error message that says “MICR numbers not visible.” The numbers are VERY CLEARLY visible, both in the color preview photo, AND in the black and white photo that pops up after you accept the photo. Once I try to take a photo of the back, I get an error message pop up that the image is out of scale and to please take a new photo. How is this possible? I am sitting at a table, with my elbows propped up to the same height for both photos. The check is very obviously the same size front to back and the distance from my phone to the table is the same. I also have been unable to complete a mobile deposit due to the app refusing to recognize the line item “for mobile deposit only at SCU.” Does not matter how clearly or legibly it was written, App does not see it so you can not bypass the error message to make the deposit. I know that a human being reviews the checks before they are processed. I once accidentally typed one number incorrectly when depositing a check. The deposit was rejected (as it should have been) and I had to resubmit it. Why is there not an option to acknowledge the error message and then submit it anyway? I no longer work close to a branch and it in I credibly inconvenient for me to drive to a branch to deposit a check (and honestly not worth it due to the cost of gas if the check is for a small amount.) Please fix this. It is enraging that something so simple is so broken. I used to deposit checks via the app all the time and at some point in the last few months there have been updates to the app that have made it unusable. I’m seriously going to close all of my accounts and open up at a new bank because I just can not deal with an app that does not function. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2021-11-15, version 3019.4.0* Doesn’t even let me log in ### 1/5 — My accounts never load *2019-08-02, version 3009.3* The main issue I have with the Sharon credit union app is that my accounts never load, which means I can’t deposit checks. The only way I can see the money in my accounts is if I go to transfer money, but I can’t see any of my activity beyond just the total. It would probably be a good app if I could use it. ### 1/5 — Literally unusable *2019-03-03, version 3000.7.5* New app doesn’t work for me. Account balances are “unable to be retrieved”. Old app worked great... now it’s unusable ### 1/5 — Terrible *2019-02-24, version 3000.7.1* The new format is terrible, nothing wrong with the only format. ### 1/5 — Nice Idea, but Broken *2012-08-12, version 3.0.0* This would be a four- or five-star rating if not for the fact that the check deposit feature crashes 9 times out of 10, usually after I've wasted time entering information and taking pictures of checks (it also likes to give an error about the images not matching even when they do). Sending feedback never gets a response from the developers either. UPDATE: Now the bill pay feature isn't working. And again, there's a feedback option in the app, but apparently no one reads or replies to that feedback. ### 2/5 — Constantly logging me out *2022-01-07, version 3019.4.0* As of late, this app is very problematic. It constantly "experiences an error" and forces me to sign in with my password.
