Moi qui cherchais un remplaçant à DungeonRaid c’est parfait ! En plus gratuit et sans publicité. Mon seul bémol : je viens de me retrouver coincée par un yéti qui a « freezé » mon personnage... sauf que le seul mouvement possible est un swap entre mon personnage et un objet. It's a match 3 but better. The direction you swipe to make your match determines where your character moves and where the new tiles slide in from. Which is super helpful since you have to avoid fighting the enemies until you've accumulated enough power swords. AND who doesn't love a pirate shanty. ### 5/5 — Refreshing take on the match 3 genre *2015-03-18, version 1.0.2* First off, this game has pirates, and everyone loves pirates, right? Scurvy Scallywags has a very refreshing take on the match 3 genre, mixing in some RPG elements and most importantly, depending on how you swipe, the pieces on the board will shift in different directions. A definite change of pace when compared to typical match 3 games. Finally, there's lots of humor to be found (unsurprisingly, as Ron Gilbert had a hand in it and any video game fan will tell you he created the Monkey Island series and the Maniac Mansion/Day of the Tentacle games). Finding verses of the ultimate shanty are particularly rewarding. The only downside? The music gets a bit repetitive after a while. Or maybe I've just been playing it too much. You move items to combo like most of puzzle of that category and build up power to kill monsters on the grid. Not a lot of fun is going on but ok : so far it would worth 3 stars. The killer problem is that at some point the difficulty ramps up instantly to impossible : you are level 14, start with power 20 or so and in a few moves you have 4 or 5 crabs around 36 to 40 rushing to get you. Needless to say you lose a few hearts. I assumed it was a special challenge but no. Nothing new at the end and the next mission is the same. Absolutely no fun.
