## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.3 — 2026-10-23

Scute is now Scute: Reptile Care Tracker, with the same app and the same records. The new first run starts with your own animal, or you can explore with sample animals that are clearly marked and removable any time in Settings. Log feedings, weights and sheds, see what is due today, and peek at clutch odds before you pair.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-15

Under-the-hood update so we can see which parts of Scute people actually use, without collecting your animals, logs, or personal details. Your collection still stays on your device.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-22

Scute now starts with an empty collection.

If you saw sample animals when you first opened Scute, they are now clearly marked and you can clear them in one tap from Settings, or load them back any time to explore. Animals you added yourself are never touched.

Also in this update:
- A new welcome screen to help you add your first animal
- Fixes and polish throughout

### 1.0 — 2026-07-16
