## What is Scylla Finance?

Scylla is a financial operations platform for owner-operators who manage rental properties, restaurants, and personal finances under multiple entities. It unifies a general ledger across every entity you run and surfaces an operations layer on top: KPI dashboards, P&L cards, food-cost / labor / tip-pool views, AI-assisted personal-finance categorization, and obligation alerts for taxes, filings, leases, maintenance, and insurance renewals.

Built for the owner who wears every hat:

- Properties: Per-property year-to-date P&L driven by the unified ledger. Bank transactions, loans, management fees, and maintenance costs roll up automatically. Vacancy, equity growth, and lease deadlines tracked across your portfolio.
- Restaurants: Weekly cards with food cost %, labor %, and tip-pool compliance. The KPIs an operator actually checks on Monday morning, computed straight from the ledger and your POS feed.
- Personal: AI-categorized transactions across personal accounts, with full drill-in to every category. The same engine that runs your business books cleans up your personal spend.
- Obligations: A live alert layer for tax deadlines, insurance renewals, lease events, and filings. Nothing slips because nothing is hand-tracked in a spreadsheet anymore.

Scylla's edge is the unified GL. Most owner-operators run one tool for personal finance, another for properties, and a third for the restaurants then try to reconcile across them by hand at quarter-end. Scylla puts every LLC, every bank account, and every line of revenue and expense into one ledger, then gives each domain its own view on top. You see the whole business in one screen, and you can drill from a KPI tile down to the bank transaction that drove it without switching apps.

v1.1 introduces multi-tenant onboarding so any operator can sign up and run their own books on the same engine that powers our beta tenant.

Plus background reliability work across the GL engine, the obligations alert layer, and the property and restaurant dashboards.
