Prospective customers should be aware that SDFCU will charge a monthly fee for “non-use.” “Secure messages” are also sent through an external (Zix) email system, so the “features” of this app are entirely useless. For a bank that supposedly serves the State Department community – which is based mostly overseas – this app and this bank are trash.

Considering that a vast number of members are overseas SDFCU should remedy issues with accessing accounts when utilizing VPNs.  It makes no sense that I should be less protected by having to disable VPN when trying to access my account.

I like the app for its simplicity and ease of use. The new design is a great improvement from the older version. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for something sleek.

I don't know if it's because of the new app layout or features but for some reason, lately, my ability to deposit a check is not working. Everytime I go to try, I'm met with a grey screen that says "Full Screen is Required". There's no button to change the zoom on that window or close out to return to the landing page , so I end up having to just close the app. There also doesn't seem to be any way to get support for the app unless it's through a review. Been using the app for years and only just encountering this process so it's pretty frustrating.
