Funktioniert wirklich super. Die Frequenz ragt zu weit nach Links in die Buttons rein. Die Buttons darunter für Squelch etc. sind nur ganz schmale Streifen die man schlecht drücken kann und nicht sieht für was welcher Button ist. ### 5/5 — Ist das Geld wert *2025-09-05* Bin Nutzer der App ohne Probleme installiert . I use memories a lot and that would be a big help. I picked up an IC-705 for portable operation and this app. Wow. Extremely well done interface, very complete control, great set of tools, FT8/4 support. Yeah, it’s expensive but this was clearly a lot of work. I’m still digging into the capabilities and features of this app, and the manual for it is also extremely well written and helpful. It’s very cool to sit on the couch and have full access to the radio. I can't find a name. It's inconvenient. Is it a bug? ### 5/5 — Bedienung Top *2024-08-25* Ich nutze die App mit dem 705 und 9700. Ich habe schon viel Geld und vor allem Zeit in diverse Remote-Projekte investiert. Das waren PCs und Tablets mit diversen Audio Interfaces, TeamSpeak Server, diverse VOX Platinen usw. Funktioniert haben diese Lösungen nie zufriedenstellend. Jetzt habe ich diese App entdeckt, zum Preis von 10m Koaxkabel😃 Damit kann ich von überall aus übers Band drehen oder auf dem Ortsrelais QRV sein. Genau das richtige für mich, ich bin beruflich oft auf Reisen. Die Bedienung ist mindestens so gut wie am 705 direkt, man tippt auf den Wasserfall und ist auf der Frequenz. Die Feinabstimmung über Tuning Panel ist Präzise und steht der Bedienung über den VFO Knopf in nichts nach. Die beim Betrieb oft benötigten Funktionen wie Relaisablage, 1750, RF Gain NR NB sind direkt auf der Oberfläche ohne Untermenü erreichbar. Die App läuft auch bei gesperrtem Display weiter, man kann im Hintergrund QRV bleiben. Will man auf einer Frequenz senden, kann man auf eine Ansicht umschalten bei der es nur eine große PTT Taste gibt. So verstellt man nicht versehentlich die Frequenz. Es gibt auch einen Lock Button der unbeabsichtigte Bedienung verhindert. Der Klang über die IPhone Lautsprecher ist hervorragend, Modulation ist sehr gut. Ich kann die Apps von diesem Entwickler sehr empfehlen. Ich habe mittlerweile noch die App für IPad und Mac gekauft sowie die FT-Control für Yaesu. Der hohe Preis schreckt zuerst etwas ab, für mich ist die Software aber jeden Cent wert. Im Vergleich zum originalen Icom Programm das nur auf PC läuft oder diversen kostenlosen Lösungen bekommt man eine durchdachte Software die seit Jahren ständig weiterentwickelt und verbessert wird. ### 4/5 — Great app, only missing KISS TNC *2024-08-13* Can't recommend enough. Sporadically connects (if at all) even on the same WiFi feet apart. I'm glad I discovered this BEFORE I ALSO wasted money on the iPad app, for some reason, you'd think since it's an IOS app, you wouldn't have to buy AGAIN to use on iPad. Attempted to contact support through the app as requested but received auto response that they were unavailable until June 20. Thanks, 73s, Marcus, DL8MRE ### 1/5 — FT-8 decode is useless and unreliable. *2024-09-22* Works good for SSB ops or SWL listening. FT8 is usless. Decode signals are 12db lower than WSJTX. So miss a lot of usable signals and miss lots of DX. Its a coding issue, as i can have WSJTX running in parrallel with the same radio at the same time and see the signal level issues, and less decodes on the app. Dev has confirmed but has no intentions of addressing issue. I have the extensive email chain of all my tests and his confirmation. Somehow he keeps getting my review removed. This is like the 3rd time its been removed now. Makes one wonder what good reviews are. I have the phone, ipad, and mac versions. Same issue on all platforms. **Developer response:** Unfortunately, most statements made here are incorrect and don't reflect my response to this user where I explained in details where he is wrong. ### 1/5 — Messed up my 705 *2023-04-09, version 1.4.01* If it worked it would be great but it messed up my radio from the beginning. Had to end up resetting my 705 to get it working normal again. The is the first app Ive ever actually requested a refund on ### 2/5 — ‘Larger Text’ iPhone setting not supported *2026-06-25* Dialogs do not scale properly if you have ‘Larger Text’ enabled on your iPhone. Makes it difficult/impossible to set values correctly. Gave 2 stars because support was fairly prompt (even though their answer is to not use your phone the way you want, i.e. don’t have larger text enabled). ### 2/5 — Good, but… *2025-12-14* I think this is a great app, but while it used to work on mobile networks, recently it hasn't been working at all. As a result, my usage on my iPhone has dropped drastically. Please restore the ability to use it over cellular data like before. But, is lacking on FT8. Better off running remote desktop into pc in the shack and running WSJT-X there. Ive ran this app on iphone, ipad, and a new Macbook M3. Ive found that WSJT-X on pc connected via usb and my ios devices connected via LAN or WAN at the same time there is a huge difference. The app is always decoding the same data 6 to 12db lower than WSJT-X does. Once WSJT gets to -13 to -16 the app is already -21 or lower and missing decodes. Once WSJT-X gets below -16, this app no longer decodes. What was odd was on the Mac version i enabled alerts for a DX call i could see on WSJT-X and the app would alert the sound, but never display it. All filtering was off. Even tried it with filtering. So it appears a coding issue and threshold on when the decodes no longer display. I emailed Marcus and he basically said hes seen the same thing and it is what it is. Appears he has no desire to dig into it. So, if your looking to use it for FT8, dont. I bought a brand new Macbook Pro M3 3 days ago thinking the faster processor may help. But its not processing i can see. Its the levels in the coding of the app. Other than that, app works good. Usually when i have found bugs he has been great at emailing back and working on a fix. This time it appears as if he is saying it is what it is. Kinda disappointed. Guess i shouldnt have bought the mac or the app. **Developer response:** Unfortunately, most statements made here are incorrect and don't reflect my response to this user where I explained in details where he is wrong. ### 3/5 — Not good on cellular remote access *2023-06-18* It’s a great app on Wi-Fi around the home,also on a good Wi-Fi access point when operating remote ,but app struggles on audio rx packets on remote when using mobile carriers I have tried vodaphone and smarty sims and they keep breaking up the audio rx packets also bought a 4g router and the same results,my Icom rsba1 v2 software works flawlessly on these networks,I think more work is needed to address this problem remotely **Developer response:** This is of course no problem of the App but just a cause of a poor 4G connection. My radio RTT is less than 10ms, which means it’s responsive when I make a change in the app. I just wish it would control digital mode (more specifically work with reflectors - Link/un-link/CQCQCQ/etc..)
