For one, you don’t get any indication if the process has started. I can wait if it’s working. I won’t wait if I have no idea if my screen tapping is doing anything. For most SDS, Google is quicker. I work in the woods so I need to download. This app doesn't currently allow caching within the app, and allow you to select to send it to another app directly for storage. I currently text myself the link, open in safari, then download. This process is ridiculous and unnecessary. ### 2/5 — Cumbersome and outdated *2013-08-21, version 2.1* As other reviewers stated, it's slow to pull up search results. Cannot search by CAS. Results are not by closest match, but by chemical name or manufacturer. By chemical includes all chemicals with a small part in their name. SDSs are outdated. Sigma-Aldrich SDS was from 2003. It should reflect manufacturers new GHS SDSs. Not worth using. ### 4/5 — Safety Engineer *2012-07-13, version 2.1* It's been very helpful.. You saved my baby's life!" and I think this was another one of those situations. The app does search the MSDS put out by the manufacturer, but the interface is clunky and the search is not very fast at all. If I am searching for the hazards of a particular chemical, I don't want to have to type out the entire chemical name (i.e. searching "H2O2" found ONE chemical, a cleaner.. Really??" and I don't want to have to sort by manufacturer and then again find the chemical and THEN decide what type of report I want would result in me wasting a hell of a lot of time. The app needs improvement and having employees give 5 star reviews is not going to do the trick in getting this app recognized. ### 5/5 — The Preeminent MSDS App Available Today *2011-09-30, version 2.0* My company has been waiting for this app for years. I has finally come. We employ over 500 men and women in the liquid abrasives industry and needed a more streamlined approach for disseminating MSDS data to our employees for each of the products we handle. With new formulas being introduced everyday and new products passing through our warehouses, I anticipate this app will become one of our most valued tools.
