Glad I got it. *2022-09-08* At first I thought “do I need another drum app?” Well, 10 minutes into it I realized this is the most fun drum app out there. The great presets and simple pattern programming make it easy to get into, and the deep customization options make it a product worth learning and tinkering with. It’s easy to import samples and create kits. The presets are pretty good too. Definitely one of my favorite drum machine/sampler apps. The sequencer is very easy to use and if you want to play the pads it auto quantizes. So whether your an experienced beat maker or no nothing about music, you can be creating in seconds! The Ableton Link feature is 🔥. It’s the 2021 version of a drum circle where everyone can be linked and create a groove and music. Such a simple, intuitive workflow and most importantly for me, super high fun factor. Killer internal kits but I was quick to get my own hits and sounds imported into SDS without any issues. Man, good work on this. Loving creating with it a ton. Maybe midi learn and an amplitude envelope is in store for future updates? Can’t think of much more to add to it. This is a FANTASTIC piece of design - really - it’s beautiful and useful in so many ways (especially - simplicity leads to victory) and as of right now the only thing I’m missing is a sampler included with auto slicing via transient detection. Well ok, ADSR would be nice too and ESPECIALLY 3D Touch support for phones that have it (instead of vertical “velocity” for the pads). As a last suggestion that is ultimately not as relevant since we can create kits, is, please add more acoustic kits. I actually really like a few kits here, but I’m just not an electronic guy so most of them will probably not see much use by me. Só consegui salvar duas apresentações e paguei pela versão completa. ### 1/5 — Loses my work again *2024-07-10* This my favorite audio tool has suddenly begun to throw away hours of work: whole kits just vanish from my user bank. I have been saving a kit to my files at the end of each session for a while now, but lately, if I don't pay attention to the app a while, working on different parts of the whole, e.g., it shuts down and when I open it again, it's returned to default and the kit I was working on is gone. Vanished. I still absolutely love it and all it's endless possibilities, but this is nerve-wrecking. User specified kit on launching **Developer response:** Hi sorry to hear you're having troubles. I just put out an update for iOS 14, so that should fix some of the crashes. I have the ideas and wish if you can develop adding to the next version for the drummer that can be able to control the sequence pattern loop (percussion add-in) while playing on the acoustic drum-set: 1. Option of small or BIGGER size for Play/Stop button. Like me i would select bigger button so when i play on my drumset, i can use the left hand to tap play/stop without miss hitting the button. (Current one is to tiny on top and missed tapping it while playing on my drum set) 2. I know i can also create a rhythm loop then import to assign on a certain pad to have it loop playing (trigger mode). For this when setup for the pad currently, i can increase the pitch higher, this will also increase the tempo/speed. If you can add the option here to have both Pitch and tempo fader separately so we can increase/decrease the tempo without changing pitch. 3. Along with option 2. Pitch fader should have the number shows up or down, so we would know how many keys we can transpose easily. I m looking forward to these new features for the future. I like that you are offering different forms of payment to use the app ie monthly sub, yearly, and outright buy. I chose the later I don’t like renting personally. There is no ADSR control at the moment, but we will keep it in mind for future updates! Pro tip: One way to get multiple sounds per pad is to load two samples into the pad and then change the sample mode to "velocity switch" (VSW). Then go to the global settings and make sure the velocity mode is set to "top." If you want to save MIDI input settings for the pads, you will need to save a kit with those settings. My big ask for the developer: Please bring this to macOS (desktop) for M1 Macs. My workflow involves developing rough ideas on iPad Pro, then finaling on desktop and there are no fast and easy replacements for this app. Being able to use this as an AU plugin would be a tremendous timesaver.
