They would hid a duck on a deck then in the description say “Hallway” with a picture of just the duck, no clue whatsoever in the background. This made it extremely hard to find, so I had to constantly say “Can’t find duck”. The only thing that I would critique is that one or two people often get most of the ducks and don’t give others a chance. I know some things aren’t fair but I feel there should be more opportunities for kids who want to get ducks but some one is already there before them. Like one person in the app has 50+ ducks when most have 3 or less. ### 5/5 — Really Fun App *2026-08-03, version 1.1.42* The app is super convenient to hide and find ducks, it was awesome and easy to use, even though it was my first time using it… Only recommendation is to make it work more reliable with ship Wi-Fi or phone internet, we all know those are not the best at sea and app stays loading and don’t register good. At least keep 1 or 2 record offline (hiding) so it can load after it get signal… Was frustrating not been able to show more on the app because of this, would have no signal and can’t hide (because you need the pic).. I hadn’t enjoyed duck hunting because I wouldn’t know anything about where to look, but Sea Ducks lets others hunt for ducks alongside people who enjoy the same thing and also makes things easy to understand about duck hunting. One thing that made me tired was that you usually had to go check on ducks that people marked as missing, so maybe they could add a feature where you could take a picture for proof that the duck is missing? That one feature would make it perfect. Am currently on a 13 day cruise and am the only one using the app so can’t mart the three found that were found because other users never signed in so can’t mart only hid and find my own ducks - where is the fun in that? Instead of people naturally finding ducks you have people who camp the app and get ducks before anyone. It is not a true hunt when the picture tells you exactly where it is. I miss the joy of just finding a duck and an even playing field for everyone on the ship. This time not so much. You’ve changed the app so now I can’t see who found my duck and I also can’t see the photo they took to be able to verify it. Super annoying. I suspect this is the by the app has barely been used this sailing. I stopped using it pretty much immediately after hiding my first three. My family had the absolute BEST time hunting and hiding ducks. Our cruise had some unbelievable hiders that hid over 1000 ducks!!! (Shout out to the family starting with F and the family that hid the 3D printed sea creatures…they were awesome!!) We would really love if you’d consider adding a “like” or “favorite” button for hiders or allow us to comment on hides we find or think are cool. Also, would be great to be able to thank the hider with a comment or phrase after finding a duck. You can even make a badge for “fan favorite” hider! We just loved using this app, it made our cruise so much more enjoyable, we tried to tell everyone onboard about it!
