### 1/5 — Awful

*2025-09-09, version 4.48.5*

What an appalling app / constantly have to re-login, sometimes your boarding pass is there - sometimes it’s not. Booking also randomly disappears.

### 1/5 — Unintuitive

*2025-08-31*

I’m not unskilled in navigating apps and websites, but this one makes it hard to find what I’m looking for with a lot of dead ends

### 2/5 — App Still not Ship Shape

*2025-03-16*

As a very loyal Seabourn cruiser, I find the app very helpful and functional while on board. However, the app developers have done a poor job building out the features for those of us who love to plan and follow along before and after sailing. For example, the Venture dinner menus have not been updated on the app for over two weeks. It would be so nice to read The Herald from each ship as they are sailing. Even something as simple as finding the ship(s) in real time would be fun and help us maintain interest when we are not lucky enough to be at sea. We can’t even switch to see the menus on other ships beyond our next booking. An interactive chat would be nice to ask questions about our upcoming trip. Please make us feel like we’re at our “home away from home!” Thanks

### 2/5 — Would be great if it worked!

*2024-09-22*

This product never opened.

### 2/5 — Pretty hopeless

*2024-08-29, version 4.40*

Too many blank pages and things like Preferences don’t upload. No point in having an app that doesn’t work!

### 1/5 — Just terrible

*2024-07-27*

One day you m our trip we have two stops. One where you can get off the boat and one where you cannot. The boat just stops and does a few zodiac tours. The app shows disembark and allaboard times during the zodiac tours. There is not record or the second stop where you actually can get off the boat. Asked the Activities desk to clarify, they said the app is simple it only displays one stop per day, and so they put in the first stop. We just have to “know” there is a second stop and all aboard time.

In addition I went to see how many ship credits I still have. The part of the app called “Onboard Credits” shows $0.00 and the part of the app with my wallet shows the correct amount. Asked service desk about this. They just said “app is weird like that”. Really?

### 1/5 — Useless app

*2024-06-27, version 4.38*

It’s unable to find my booking. Called the provided 1-800 number. The Seabourn agent said ‘oh yeah, it doesn’t do that. Never has’. Seems the app can’t really do much of anything unless you’re on a ship. Don’t waste your time with it.

### 1/5 — Absolutely useless software

*2023-11-12, version 4.32*

I have to redownload every time I try and use it. Reservations for dinner at Keller made on the app “disappear” and never get passed onto the ship. This has happened each time on past 3 cruises. I don’t think Seabourn ever hooked the reservations up to anything.
What a totally useless piece of software, especially for a cruise line that thinks it’s high end.

### 1/5 — Disorganized and not intuitive

*2023-09-22*

Needs a lot of improvement

### 1/5 — A truly awful app

*2023-08-29, version 4.29.2*

One star is one too many for this appalling app, it’s totally counter intuitive, and drops out seconds before trying to do key tasks like adding the security photo. Key information is impossible to find. This app does Seabourn’s reputation no good at all, it needs a total redesign and a rewrite, and anyone involved with the original shouldn't be allowed anywhere near it, because they have let Seabourn down.

### 1/5 — Can’t login

*2023-08-13*

I downloaded the app to prepare for my upcoming cruise, but it just gives me an error every time I try login. I can login fine on the website.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2023-08-07, version 4.29*

Can't do anything that is listed as being possible. Called the 1-800 #. Totally useless help there. "Ah the app only works once you're onboard". Um, maybe read the app description or update it.

### 1/5 — Horrible App

*2023-07-01*

Doesn’t work. Can’t get in. Rep says it’s fine from what she can see—odd when I can’t even get it to do anything. She says someone might be able to fix it on a weekday, because they don’t have people who can fix it on a Saturday. Or maybe O can try to fix it on the cruise-ideal use of vacation time waiting in line to fix their app. This cruise line is looking bad, like fake luxury—pretty on the outside and cheap on the inside where customers don’t see it.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — One of the worst login experiences

*2026-07-09*

Who built this app? It’s abysmal. It doesn’t handle passkeys correctly so instead of using one, it creates a new one every time. It’s just not good.

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2026-06-23*

The app is the worst I have seen. Literally the app must have been designed 10 years ago. The user experience is terrible and you have so many clicks. You cannot load documents, you cannot update your Credit card, finding your events you would think would be laid out much better, etc. As someone whose experience should be digital friendly this is a huge miss. Fingers crossed the boat experience is better.

### 1/5 — Non functional App

*2026-04-26*

In theory the App sounds great, but in practice not so much. After initial difficulties was able to download the app. Create an account and see my itinerary boarded the ship, and everything went sour.. The app no longer recognized my key card password or face. I had to delete the app and reinstall it several times. after at least 5 to 10 failed attempts finally got the app working. At least temporarily even in this "working state" I am not seeing my restaurant reservations and I am not sure what else will not appear

### 1/5 — Richtiger Gedanke, schlecht umgesetzt

*2026-02-09, version 26.05.00*

Nicht performant. Login Probleme. Intuitiv ist anders.

### 1/5 — Awful

*2026-02-09, version 26.05.00*

An hour of my life I won’t get back trying to retrieve my excursion tickets from my wallet!
Signed in - access wallet - “please sign in” message, despite there being a sign out button visible at the top of the page
Typical of this app
Not fit for purpose

### 1/5 — Impossible to login while on the ship

*2026-01-22*

I loved the fact that we could login in the app and see all the restaurants and their menus and of course, our itinerary for the day. Unfortunately, while on the boat, I was able to login only once and then, all I get, is “an error has occurred, try again later”. I have uninstalled and re-installed the app many times and still nothing. They have to improved the app a lot so we can have access to all the info on where to meet and what time to meet for expeditions. Right now, we are in the dark.

### 1/5 — Awful app

*2026-01-17, version 25.50.00*

One star is too many. Seemingly allows log in but then asks to login again to view Boarding Pass and itinerary, then a doom loop.
.

### 1/5 — Won’t download

*2025-12-06*

I phone 16 pro. Everything up to date. Plenty of space. App won’t download

### 1/5 — Connect without a connection!

*2025-11-08, version 4.48.8*

Doh! Written by software engineers who don’t go out! If you need to download app on board or login, you need internet access but until you are logged in you can’t get it. Hmm! OR it sends you an email with a 4 digit pass code to confirm it is your phone. Doh again! Can’t access emails as not online! So leave ship and find a cafe with free internet to resolve.

### 1/5 — Needs a refresh

*2025-09-22, version 4.48.5*

Whilst it does its job, the app could do with an overhaul especially in terms of menu structure and usability.
The top and bottom banners take almost 1/4 of the available screen area and I’m not sure why the log out button is on every screen at the top.
The bottom menu tabs don’t really align to the items within it, such as the FAQ under Plan. The FAQ screen also doesn’t work.
The Home screen could do with some prioritisation of features, such as when off board displaying more info on planning a future cruise and then when onboard displaying more information about your current cruise.
A dark mode would also be welcomed.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 4/5 — App applies inconsistent pricing

*2026-08-31*

After booking salon services via the app several weeks before the cruise, I noticed it does NOT provide the same pricing or discounts as those available for booking the identical services via the website, where significant discount apply. Needless to say, I feel like I’ve been scammed.

### 4/5 — Tiny text and icons, think demographics

*2024-03-03, version 4.34.1*

Works adequately whence on board. Needs to be re-logged in occasionally for some reason.

Secondary, but the appearance, indexing and menus do not follow any of Apple iOS customs.

### 4/5 — Useful Tool

*2021-08-08*

It would be helpful to add reservations for the Thomas Keller restaurant.

Once installed, it can only be searched for by the keyword, “source.” It should be renamed to “Seabourn Source.”

### 4/5 — Pretty good, some weirdness

*2021-07-30*

I like that we’ll be able to see what’s on the menu at restaurants, and I like that I was able to book excursions from it. I hope it will connect to the ship WiFi for free each day when we are on board so we get the daily newsletter.

My only gripe is that the dinner reservations don’t show up on my app (even tho I booked them), but only show up in my husband’s (I listed him as an attendee). Just made me panic when they were no longer listed in my activities.

I also had similar things happen with the spa treatments and retreat reservations, but they seem to have fixed those now. Overall, a decent app, will be perfect once they fix it so reservations show up for both attendees.

### 3/5 — Seabourn app

*2025-05-15*

App is still not up to par
It actually should be tweaked enough to make it way more user friendly
Right now it is still a challenge

### 3/5 — Doesn’t work with VPNs

*2024-06-13*

App needs to be modified to work with VPNs used by passengers to keep personal data secure while traveling. It requires passengers to disconnect from their VPN to see anything in the app, then reconnect VPN to re-secure their data and continue using their other apps. No one who wants to keep their personal data secure uses unsecured WiFis without a VPN anymore. Please take customer data security needs seriously and update the app accordingly.

### 3/5 — “Check, please!”

*2024-04-20*

Daily dining/ menu updates have not been loading for over a week. It’s a feature we enjoy to give us an “appetite” for upcoming cruises. Would be nice to see the daily menus for all ships, not just the ship of our next cruise. Would also be interesting to track current position of all of the ships. Maybe post the Daily Herald from each ship so we can see how much fun we are missing! Thanks!

### 3/5 — Wish I could review

*2021-07-06, version 3.2*

Just downloaded this update. It crashes every time I try to open it on my iPhone. Could be useful if it worked.

Update: so, the solution was to delete the updated copy of the app and download a completely new copy from the App Store. Now it works and recognized me once I signed in. Navigation seems a little complicated but I’ll see how well it works over time.

### 2/5 — Updated app missing some of our favorite features

*2026-06-28*

The new look of the app has us less excited. We loved the countdown (274 days 10hrs and 52 minutes until…) which is still there, but in a much diminished way. We also loved the ability to check out “tonight’s dinner menus” That would get us talking about some of our favorite dishes, etc. And now we can’t find anything except basic info about our upcoming voyages. Perhaps once we board the ship, the updated app will prove more useful. Although we were some of the people that NEVER used the app whilst on board. We loved opening The Source in the days and months before our voyage to get excited about what’s to come. Sigh.

### 2/5 — Source app

*2026-04-22*

I love the concept of source but the app does not deliver. There doesn’t seem to be any link between the Herald and source. Most times source is wrong. When I go into dining and drinks the app locks up 30% of the time. The port information is so tiny you can’t read it. It would be nice if you were able to enlarge it.
