### 4/5 — Love it! Challenging without being Exhausting

*2009-12-25*

I generally play games to fill bits of time and to relax. This fits the bill wonderfully. I like match 3 games. I LOVE Seaglass. I enjoy how the game is played by moving the squares. It also looks good (although I don't like most of the alternate skins)... I didn't give it 5 stars because

1) Game level format: You have to start over from level one everytime you play.

2) Alternative skins quality: Some are visually too dark or images not as crisp.

3) Useless "unlocking" skins feature as point/level reward: IMHO, unlocking skins aren't a worthy motivator for this type of game - Seaglass in particular. Seaglass is just so good it doesn't need this feature as a crutch. Go ahead and unlock all the skins so we can play with whatever background or pieces we want. If you want to include special rewards add in-game power pieces to help clear some squares!

Otherwise, again, great game!

### 4/5 — Good but trophies way too hard to get

*2009-11-23*

This is a simple but extremely addicting game. Graphics are great, runs smoothly. My only problem is with the trophies. I find it impossible to get 15k much less 100 k on challenge. Additinally the gap btw 8 chains and 15 chains is incredible. It would be much better to make the increments smaller and more attainable. Would be awesome if this can be improved

### 5/5 — Through the looking sea glass

*2009-11-20*

This game is five star worthy as it is extremely addictive with bonuses you can unlock through various achievements. The music is relaxing and actually helped me concentrate instead of being kiddy or annoying.
The skins you can unlock give each game a different look and feel, creating a refreshing game feeling instead of the same old stale look. Give this game a try.

### 5/5 — Wonderful game

*2009-10-21*

This is, at its core, a clone of the Panel de Pon/Tetris Attack/Puzzle League series of games. Fans will be able to pick it up with no trouble.

Newcomers shouldn't have any problem either. It's simple to understand and get started, and the controls are intuitive.

The visuals and sound are incredibly polished, more than some games I've seen on the app store that cost ten times as much! And there are tons of skins to unlock, to suit any player's tastes.

PdP veterans will find that the physics are different than what they're used to, and a bit slower and easier, but the trophies will keep even the most experienced players coming back for more!

If you've got a dollar to spare, I highly recommend this game.

### 4/5 — Extremely slick.

*2009-10-18*

This is one of the most polished games I've seen on the app store in relation to visuals, sound, and overall UI and presentation. Sure, it's a very simply concept that's been done a thousand times before, but it's an extremely enjoyable and well made. Would like to see other modes of play perhaps, or a bit more to set it apart from the rest of the match 3 games out there.

### 5/5 — Addictive to say the least

*2009-10-15, version 0*

I wish I could meet them guys behind this so I could punch them as this is such an addictive game that has just consumed vast chunks of my spare time... Very simple and easy to pick up and just play

### 5/5 — Addictive

*2009-10-14, version 0*

This is an excellent little puzzle game, perfect for killing time on the train. Trying to beat the high scores keeps me coming back for more, but the world wide high score is insane. I think the guy that set it might be in need of serious help, perhaps a Seaglass rehabilitation clinic. Anyway, excellent game well worth 60p.

### 5/5 — Fun Game !

*2009-10-13*

This game is more than another bejeweled match 3 type game. It allows you to move squares within rows or drop them to other rows if there is an opening. At the same time the squares are rising and you need to keep them from reaching the top by making matches vertically or horizontally ( Multiple moves can be made to make a match) which causes the blocks to disappear. The game offers a timed and un-timed game modes. The sound and Graphics are very good and the gameplay is very fun. If you like match 3 games but are looking for something different get this game I think you will like it.

### 5/5 — Addictive!!!?

*2009-10-12, version 0*

I've deleted everything else on my iphone and this is the only app i have now. How can i get my other apps back? Incidentally, this is a great game.

### 5/5 — Pretty puzzle game

*2009-10-11, version 0*

### 1/5 — Way to screw up a good game

*2017-12-17*

My wife & I have had this game for years @ loved it. Thanks to iOS11 we were forced to "update". I've never in my life seen an app so drastically change for the worse.

**Developer response:** Hi, sorry you don't like the new version - unfortunately there's so many devices now that we needed to rewrite the game to support them all :( The gameplay should be the same though, is it just the graphics you don't like?

### 2/5 — Fun game but...

*2017-04-09*

You can't play it while listening to your own audio. Very frustrating!

### 2/5 — Intolerably slow!

*2009-11-20*

I downloaded this for free, played it twice, and deleted it. The gameplay is so slow! I think I would like it better if you didn't have to start on level one or if the pieces got replaced with new ones when you removed them like bejeweled.

### 3/5 — New Version

*2017-09-27*

I immensely dislike the new version.

**Developer response:** Hi, Unfortunately the old version was last updated in 2011 and we had to rewrite the game so it would continue working on iOS 11. Let us know if there's anything that you think would improve the new version at tony@physmo.com. Thanks!

### 3/5 — Solid gameplay, but lacking

*2010-01-22*

The gameplay is exactly what I was looking for in this Tetris Attack/Puzzle League clone. The default skin is nice, and the unlockables are a good bonus. I appreciate the more difficult achievements, as touch controls can make Puzzle League too easy. Many of the other skins and the overall UI are pretty nasty, and could use a lot more polishing. I'd like to see some indicator - a glowing effect or something - to show which block I'm currently moving. Probably the largest oversight is a lack of a colorblind mode. The shapes on the Puzzle League blocks weren't there just for kicks. With a few tweaks this game could be really great, but for now I have to call it average.

### 4/5 — Good Game But...

*2016-12-23*

In glad I bought this game. It's a lot of fun. I just wish there was a clicking sound with each swap of the panels like in Tetris Attack (a game this is obviously emulating). If you're gonna emulate a great game such as Tetris Attack, at least have the clicking noises. When I'm having a great chain going I sometimes mess up because I think I have a block switched but I realize I didn't. If I had clicking noise to let me know of each swap my errors would be beyond significantly reduced. Developer PLEASEEEEEEE if you only do ONE UPDATE at least add CLICKING NOISES!

### 4/5 — Great stuff

*2012-05-09, version 1.4*

Loved this game for a long time.

I've been looking for a Meteos clone on iOS (Meteos is an old Nintendo DS title) & this dev has the closest game to the controls at least.

If this could be used to develop a game like Meteos, I'd be more that willing to buy again.

### 4/5 — A job well done~

*2010-09-30*

I like the simple and nice interface. Sometimes too complicated can make your eyes go @@. It does it job well as a match-3 puzzle. Took me 30 seconds to understand the gameplay. Good job :)

### 4/5 — Great game at a great price

*2010-09-29, version 0*

Clean interface and easy to understand game play with a twist, make this a great addition to the match 3 genre.

### 4/5 — Pretty good

*2010-04-06*

This game is quite good. It's very polished and has many nice features. I also got it for free, so I can't complain about the price. It's probably worth $1-2 though.

With all of that said, if you like this type of game (Tetris Attack/Pokemon Puzzle League style), you should check out Puzzle Panel. It has faster paced gameplay and a puzzle mode. But hey... why not get both?

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Fun puzzle game

*2017-10-17*

I really like the gameplay. Only wish the art was more exciting..

### 5/5 — Outstanding PdP Game

*2017-09-19*

Great update, looks better and plays smoother. Love this game!

### 5/5 — Smooth, solid gameplay

*2016-11-15*

This is by far the best version of this game I have ever played. The controls are so smooth and (more importantly,) reliable. There is usually little doubt of which block I'm holding. One little thing that is lacking would be a very subtle click so that I can tell when I've moved a block one space. (It's hard to see when my finger is in the way!)

The music is ridiculously catchy, sound effects are appropriate. I like the subtle but noticeable animation given to a stack of blocks nearly reaching the top. I like the various themes but the game should provide better colorblind support (shapes or palettes).

### 5/5 — You Lie! It's not for iPad!

*2011-06-19*

This is an iPhone game, despite the blurb on the side saying it is an iPad compatible. (Well, it is, it runs, but that's not the point)

Which is a shame because I love this app and I spent a lot of time on it on my iPod. In fact, I love most Tetris Attack games! And this one is a good one! It's just not an iPad app like I was hoping....

### 5/5 — Addictive - great game whilst sitting on the throne.

*2011-04-27*

I love this game and have wasted countless hours on it.

### 5/5 — A very serious warning !!!!!!

*2010-11-13, version 0*

It starts as a good way to kill time on a train, bus or subway then becomes a good way to avoid doing all those boring/tiresome chores that interrupt your day. But trust me when I warn you it WILL end up in a CIA holding cell with you a suspected terrorist as you'll have rubbed of all your finger prints and when the hood is placed over your head all you will see if coloured square tiles !!!.... PPS I've been playing this game this for months and months now and I'm still as addicted as I was on day one!

### 5/5 — A Fun Match 3 Experience

*2010-10-14, version 0*

I was looking for a game like Tetris Attack, and luckily I found SeaGlass. While it doesn't have the Puzzle Mode and VS Mode of Tetris Attack (two modes I love), it does a good job at making up for it by its smooth gameplay. Scrolling up to see more blocks is done by making a swiping motion upwards, and it's done in a way that there's not a moment where you don't have full control over the board, meaning there's no waiting to scroll up while blocks break like Tetris Attack makes you do. The gameplay really is the most fluid I've played in these types of games.

The two game modes this game does have are Challenge (2 minute game) and Marathon (however long you last), and they always start at level 1 speed. The level goes up based on your score during gameplay, and can go all the way up to level 99. Both modes have Game Center leaderboards, so I can see how poorly I'm doing compared to other people. :p There's also 21 achievements which gives you points in Game Center as well as unlock the different skins that change the look of the board/blocks. You can leave the game and continue where you left off (great for Marathon), and you can listen to your own music.

Also, the developers are still working on making the game even better. I e-mailed them a suggestion for an update, and they did it. Pretty quick, too. They even said to feel free to suggest any other things, so I did, and they're actually doing them. There's not too many developers who listen to people's suggestions out there, so it's always great to support them. It's a nice feeling to be able to communicate with good developers to help get the full potential out of a game.

So to sum things up: The game is fun, the developers are good, and the price is right. Now it's up to you.

### 5/5 — Cool little block game!!

*2010-05-23, version 0*

Very very addictive - taking up far too much of my spare time :)

### 5/5 — So Clean

*2010-02-23*

If you like Planet Puzzle DS; this is such a good version. I have all of these types of slide match 3 games and this has become my favorite. Skins and achievements feel great. Such a clean and cool look. Hope they keep going on this!

### 5/5 — Cracking game

*2009-12-27, version 0*

Reeally addictive and easy to play, brilliant for killing time! Highly recommended!
