The app started as Orig3n. Now it is Seaport. I sent in my swab kit well over a year ago. I cannot get any response from anyone at this company. Seems to be on point with the other 1 star reviews on here. It’s pretty sickening this company has taken so much money from people with zero response. Hopefully people read these reviews before purchasing any of Seaport’s kits. After last update to the app, I can no longer open the app it crashes every time I try to log on. I did my results awhile back and I’m afraid if I delete and re-download it, then I won’t be able to recover my data. Which was done a long time ago. It keeps crashing and won’t let me in. How do I get my information? ### 5/5 — Easy to do, took less than 2 minutes *2019-06-14, version 2.7.7* I have used this service for a couple different tests, each were very informative. One I did when I joined Noom for weight loss and it explained each combo of DNA that was obtained and what it meant for my weight loss journey. Super helpful. The other I did for fun, but I was also curious what my DNA had to say about my habits, intelligence and so on. Love how I can click between the different combos to see what is common and what my DNA combo means when it isn’t the most common combo. Didn’t have trouble scanning the label on the tube, it took me longer to drive it down to the post office than it took to swan the inside of my cheek. 😉 Worth every penny. Read other people’s reviews.. my test only took about 5 weeks.. definitely not a scam. I even ordered a second test from them and it was processed even quicker. Not sure what they did wrong. I had no problem entering my information online and when I contacted customer service about a question on a test, I received a prompt response not canned and would use the service again. Never had issues. ### 5/5 — Noom App Special offer *2019-06-07, version 2.7.7* I purchased this at a discount through the Noom app when signing up, and my test results came in much quicker than expected, it took about 2 weeks. There are 4 fields that the results are placed into: Noom weight, Noom metabolism, Noom sweet tooth and Noom cravings. Each area has gene results and explanation along with advice on how to adjust your diet and things you should watch out for. I was pleased with the free postage and quick turnaround. My results were very enlightening. ### 4/5 — Company is huge scam, dont fall for it *2021-10-02, version 4.0* My girlfriend bought me one of their Vitamin Dna tests in Christmas of 2020, did a cheek swab, sent it to the address, nothing. Its been almost a year, their app is useless. SCAM company. ### 4/5 — Cool test! *2019-04-19, version 2.7.6* I ordered my kit in January, got my results 4 months later... which I was kind of getting antsy about because it said I’d receive results within 4-6 weeks. They were quick to email me back saying they were doing everything they can to get my results uploaded to my Org3n/LifeProfile app. Learned a good bit of information on how my metabolism works, my weight, and how my body deals cravings. All of them were actually right on point. I’ve taken precautions and have began changing my diet and lifestyle because of this test. So overall, I’d give 4 stars because the lab results seemed to be pretty detailed and direct. Would have given 5 stars if it hadn’t took so long to get my results! ### 4/5 — More than “2minutes” but worked ok. *2019-01-13, version 2.7.4* Must have improved something since the last rater commented. If the registration screen wasn’t such a dark background it would be easier to read what they want you to put in each field. I suppose that would be fixed by increasing the brightness on your phone. The barcode to scan for the swab comes on the swab which is rounded. I had to remove the sticker from the swab container, place it on a flat surface to scan it, and then put it back on the swab. Easy enough, and took about 10 minutes. Interested to see How complete the results are. If they can do a dozen different tests, and they only do one, that would be pretty disappointing. ### 3/5 — Unacceptable *2018-12-24, version 2.7.4* Received the package sooner than expected. Was notified that the scientists were at work and it would be four to six weeks to receive results. Whatever. I’m a patient person to a point. I understand situations get busy. However, I’m approaching ten weeks with still no results. And customer service can’t get a hold of anybody to give her answers? Sounds fishy. If operation process has changed or they are so backed up with orders then the time allotted to wait for results needs to be changed. ### 2/5 — Just rating the app *2020-02-02, version 3.1.2* App is dumb. Doesn’t do info fields so that IOS can fill in my address. Once you click on a field, you can’t know what the field is for. There’s a date field. Click on it. It goes to 2002. No word about what it is. I started over and carefully read the content before entering the field. IOS generate password doesn’t work with the password field. It keeps saying no match. Plus if you say to use a strong password, it fouls up the screen so you have to click a bunch to be able to type a password. Also you have to search to scan the Noom barcode. Hard to find the right place. They should have seen by my email that they had sent a kit already and offered to scan first thing and then logged me in without reentering. Also, I question the need for all that info. There is no indicator of what is optional. Why my phone and address and email? Wait ... they mailed me a kit. They know my address. All around very poor app. ### 2/5 — Fun like a Horoscope Reading and Slow *2019-12-28, version 3.1.2* My husband and I did the nutrition (I did fitness nutrition combo.) the results came on time as promised (within 4 weeks) and were a lot of fun. They didn’t tell us anything we didn’t know about ourselves and in my case, two of the category results seemed to contradict each other. But we enjoyed it. I also ordered the beauty test and submitted it at the same time, but never received the results. Two months went by. They offered me new mini kits for my wait, but having order the 3 big ones the mini kits seemed redundant. I requested a refund, which they obliged. I read online that they’re tests aren’t entirely accurate and that in one case they were unable to identify a sample as coming from someone’s dog. So again, fun, like reading your horoscope or a fortune, but not necessarily medical grade quality results. ### 2/5 — Sloooooowwwwww!!!!! *2019-11-07, version 3.0* This well may be a cool and fascinating service, but after 5 months I still don’t have any results. My first swab apparently got messed up somehow. They said nothing until I asked, then sent me a new kit, this time with 2 swabs. I sent it in. Two days later I got another free kit with two swabs, and sent that in. I’ve since got a series of emails from robots assuring me that at any moment they are going to do my sample, but so far nothing. I suspect that what they really need to do is offer enough pay to attract competent employees, but that’s just a guess.
