I use ctrl-f throughout the day while working on my laptop. I have often found myself wishing there was a way to do it “real life” and this app actually does it. Using the camera to find words in real time works great. I still love the app, but I’ve noticed it can only process one word at a time. Can it be updated? Once two words are typed the app doesn’t find anything, even if I clear it to one word. One of the most bothersome things regarding food allergies is scanning through long ingredient list for this specific words and potentially missing something, resulting in accidental illness. I propose an upgrade to the app to permit a list of words to highlight, to help shoppers when trying to buy food safe for consumption. You could limit the number of words, but I would aim somewhat high like 10 to try to cover various potentials (gluten = wheat, barley, etc.) / (dairy = cheese, whey) / (soy = tofu) among other potentials.
