Also only get error that not an alpha numeric password. So presume only allows 36 letters and the 10 numbers. Deleted. ### 2/5 — Keeps crashing *2026-07-15, version 1.40* Great app when it works but keeps crashing repeatedly ### 2/5 — Review star ratings for sites not accurate *2026-07-11* I have reviewed a few sites, but noticed my star rating gets altered when submitted. One site my rating for facilities was 2 stars, upon submitting it changed to 5 stars! I have noticed this when reading other reviews, the comments do not match the star ratings given. I emailed for an explanation but none was forthcoming. The app otherwise is good, but to turn up at a site given high star ratings when reality is different spoils the holiday. Not renewing my subscription. ### 4/5 — Just a niggly issue *2026-07-04, version 1.39* The app is great and is the one I use most especially when in France Germany etc the only niggle i have is that town names are only visible when you are zoomed out. As you zoom in the town or village names disappear and you lose where you are and what area you are looking at. Other than that it’s a great app and the one I mostly recommend to new motorhomers ### 2/5 — I like to plan *2026-06-25, version 1.39* I really enjoyed this app during the trial, signed up and since then all it ever does is freeze and/or kick me out. I make sure I sync each time I use it … this would be a fabulous app for avid campervanners but even when sat at home on WiFi it doesn’t let you get anywhere! But, I have the app on a number of my devices, the ‘my lists’ does not sync on them all 🤬 I am having to search each one and add to each device, I’m fully paid up and find this time consuming and frustrating. Furthermore, the ‘my list’ section you should be able to list your saved sites as well as see them on a map. Small changes can make a massive difference to user experience. That’s fine but it won’t allow you to enter a vehicle length over 15 metres, despite listing sites suitable for motorhomes. After that you must pay via website, not through App Store. Emailed support and no answer. ### 1/5 — Prices *2024-11-15* Have been using search for sites for quite a while with paid version, we have tried to use it to plan our summer and winter touring, the app itself in great but the real issue is advertised prices. You can not use it to plan a decent tour, when you come to book with the owner of the site you have found on the app , in nearly all cases the price is much higher than advertised and is not monitored by Search for Sites in any way. Some sites are more than double what search for sites say they are. This is not good. It came up with so many options catering for what needs you may required. Showed a number of traveler’s how we managed to find locations, and most of them instantly down loaded the app. The my list feature is extremely useful for planning trips and the navigation selection is a great option. Definitely our go to App. ### 5/5 — An excellent resource *2025-03-25* We have been using S for S for many years and have always found it a great resource when we are out in our Motorhome. The link to Google maps is particularly useful. Users do have to be aware that it doesn’t inspect sites, it relies 100% on feedback from users. If you find a price has not been updated or a location is wrong, don’t just complain. Really helpful App for travellers like us who don’t like to book to far ahead but would rather find somewhere when we’re driving through an area we find attractive. Without doubt this is far above the rest, it saved its original cost of £5.99 the very 1st time I used it, and it’s been on auto renewal ever since ! ### 5/5 — Top app. Took us around Europe *2024-07-09* We had this recommended to us by a mate with a camper and it has proved invaluable. This app is a must if you like a bit of a European jaunt or just a Brit stop. We drove through France, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland and didn’t book anywhere in advance, we just used the app to find our next stop. It is so easy to use, the map on the app is highly detailed and then the links to your maps apps takes you straight there. Since using it I have stayed on sites I wouldn’t have even known about in the past, despite being a motorhomer for over 20 years. I find the site reviews very helpful when route planning. They take most of the risk out of using less orthodox sites. I’ve had one or two bad experiences using private sites over the years, some of which I’ve taken one look and driven away.
