### 4/5 — Closest to perfection....

*2023-05-08*

This is the first version of this app I have purchased, so earlier ones must have had serious problems for the average to be only 2.5 stars. I have used a total of seven or eight apps -- currently this one, plus Weather Bug, TWC Max+, and the very specialized Bolt Meter. Each has its own strengths and weaknesses, but I particularly like the versatility of display options and the predicted timeline detail on Seasonality Go. Altogether, it makes excellent use of the real estate of the iPad screen. I would like to have given it 4.5 stars, but since that is not an option, it gets 4. To get 5 from me, any weather app must have a serious current conditions map, with isobars, highs/lows, fronts, etc. A couple of them have feeble versions, but nothing with the credibility of those on TWC website, for example, which remains my fallback. Very puzzling why no app has this info built-in, esp. TWC itself.

### 5/5 — I really like it

*2022-09-13*

I’ve tried all the weather apps but this one just fits right. It gives me everything I need in a nice format and nothing I don’t.

### 5/5 — Packed with Data

*2020-11-03*

Great for the weather nerd! There is a tab with graphs of forecast winds, precipitation, temperature & cloud cover to quickly plan outdoor activities. Map can be loaded up with lots of data layers, including fronts & winds. Great all around!

### 3/5 — good...but...

*2020-09-27, version 4.7*

please make the horizontal temperature lines black in the temp. graph so they are be read in the solid-colored temp. field! at present the white lines on light color just disappear.

### 5/5 — Great Weather App!!

*2020-07-30*

I have had this since it came out and it keeps getting better!!

### 5/5 — Real Time Data

*2020-07-18*

Outstanding app with real time presentation of data and future predictions. Best of all apps

### 3/5 — Very accurate for Canada

*2020-05-11, version 4.4*

Updated 10 May 2020:
No more 7 day forecasts within Canada—now only shows 3 days even though the settings say it should be 7.

Disappointing.

Updated 6 Nov 2014:
*Finally* this app is iPhone-compatible! Well done guys. I've been waiting to ditch Yahoo Weather for years--now I can.
--------------
I've tried lots of iPad weather apps but keep coming back to this one.

Its chart of upcoming precipitation is bang-on and its animated satellite and radar images are great for seeing what weather is coming over the next few hours or the rest of the day.

My only wish is that they would update their OS X app to include many of the new features in this iPad version. :-)

Well done guys.

### 5/5 — Really great weather app

*2020-04-19, version 4.3*

This has a lot of customisation, tells you everything in useful, easy formats.

It just has the feel of an app that has been lovingly created. It’s been around a long time. No clutter, nagging and ads, just good straight met info. I have a lot of weather apps, including specialty ones, eg wind. This would be the first to download.

### 5/5 — Consistently my goto for my weather forecasting

*2020-04-13, version 4.3*

I’ve owned and used this app for at least 4 years, multiple iPhones. Versions. The data made available by this app id top notch. Incredible detail and granularity in seasonality’s presentation. I may use another app for a quick check of what the weather is at the moment but for forecasting, this is my favourite. (And i have run through half a dozen other weather apps...). Strong endorsement.

### 2/5 — Front Locations Dead Wrong

*2020-01-11, version 4.3*

The locations of weather fronts shown by Seasonality Go are dead wrong.

### 5/5 — Great, but a little complaint

*2020-01-06*

This is by far the best weather app I have ever used.

Recently, the map and windows keep resetting themselves to showing the entire US and hourly forecasts, respectively. I reset to State view and weekly forecasts, but when I exit out, my resets go away.

This may be an ipados issue, but I hope it can be resolved. I realize that this is a small criticism of a fantastic app.

Thank you.

**Developer response:** That's really not right! Please get in touch with info@gauchosoft.com so we can figure out what's going wrong. Thanks!

### 5/5 — My go to weather app

*2019-12-05*

Very accurate information. Used for many years.
Mac version is nice also.

### 2/5 — Crashes

*2019-04-17*

Initially worked well. Now crashes as soon as it is opened. No better with today’s update. Rebooted iPad (latest iOS system) with no benefit. Now will have to try deleting and reloading, which also means putting all the sites back in, one at a time. Annoying since it is not a cheap app.

**Developer response:** I found two bugs that could cause the app to crash at launch in some situations; and I'm submitting version 4.3 with these fixes. Please give the 4.3 update a shot (it should be available in the next day or two) and email info@gauchosoft.com if the app still doesn't work on your device. Thanks!

### 5/5 — A must have

*2019-02-15, version 4.1*

Love this app. It’s accurate. Helps you figure out what’s really going on. Love this.

### 2/5 — Doesn't update data

*2018-08-24*

The design is wonderful, but the weather data doesn't update on the schedule described in the FAQ. Sometimes it goes an entire day without updating, sometimes 2 or 3 hours. This makes the app worthless. I emailed support about this and didn't get a response. The app may work well in some areas, but doesn't in my area.
Update: Finally heard from support. They suggested switching to a more active source for forecasts, which I did. But updates are still not frequent. I fear there is a deep-rooted problem. A shame as the design is the best I've seen.

### 2/5 — Almost There...

*2018-08-16*

There are some good ideas in this app, but the execution is lacking. For example the particle map has particles traveling in groups in straight lines. The map showing fronts, highs, and lows does not have complete front lines. The ideas are there. They just need to work.

### 2/5 — Mediocre

*2018-08-14*

First, I am wondering if this app has been abandoned. Hasn’t been updated in a year. Accuracy is not very good. Temperature and precipitation forecasts are not accurate for my area . For example the probability of rain will display as 50 or 75% for most of a given day and other apps will forecast 10% chance of rain. When it doesn’t rain the next day, I know which app is accurate and which is not. And this one is usually not. I wish The pixels on the map where not so large. Each pixel seems to Cover several hundred yards. Even when you zoom out, the pixels showing precipitation are extremely blotchy and Large. I don’t think this app is worth the price.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — You can do better

*2025-02-25, version 4.8*

"Gulf of America"? Too bad, I like this app, but the delete button is in your future.

### 1/5 — No longer works

*2020-02-11, version 4.3*

Used to be a great app. Totally broken now.

### 1/5 — Crashes on iPad Pro (newest)

*2019-06-18, version 4.3*

Have been using this app for years but now I crashes on boot. Needs to be repaired

### 1/5 — Recent Problems

*2017-03-10, version 3.2.1*

Recent problems have not been addressed. These problems have persisted for over 3 months. The current temperature is missing or unable to load. The graph data is missing or unable to load. Contact with support, no answer or response. This was Super software to start but is going downhill fast!

### 1/5 — No longer works

*2017-02-27, version 3.2.1*

This app used to be great, but it has stopped working properly a while back and the developer hasn't fixed it yet. Basically it now updates only the forecast information (and even that is spotty at best), while history (the past few days) are no longer updated. I would NOT recommend it.

### 1/5 — Needs update

*2017-02-25, version 3.2.1*

Won't load current temp on iPhone. Current temp on iPad is way off. Emailed help but no fix

### 1/5 — too bad

*2016-09-14, version 3.2.1*

First the good stuff: The graphs could potentially be useful.
The bad: Design nightmare. Much look in the wrong place. Things you click on don't work as expected. Text scrolls although there is enough space for it not to. Extremely unintuitive. And not very comprehensive either. Lastly, much much too expensive I feel taken advantage of.

### 1/5 — App should be free

*2016-08-19, version 3.2.1*

App not worth money,I get more stuff on app that are apps that are free and and only cost 99 cents

### 1/5 — Not worth buying

*2016-02-01, version 3.2.1*

This is supposed to be a high end app. Truth is keep looking it stinks. Very very poor and basi

### 1/5 — Lost locations with new update.

*2014-12-14, version 3.1*

To the developers,
Was removing locations from your list, the cost of adding new locations?
With the previous version, I was able to have different locations relevant to my area of Northern Quebec Canada.
With this latest update, I've lost all my locations excepted for the actual location I'm at.
Please reinstate rural and remote locations in Canada, and don't forget the communities in Northern Quebec.
It has been a great app until this recent update.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Highly recommend

*2026-01-28*

My go to weather app
I start my day looking at this comparing it to local weather. Med software is great. The only thing I’d like is him to add in dew point

### 5/5 — Good show

*2025-12-19, version 4.8*

Great information

### 5/5 — Highly recommend

### 5/5 — Really great weather app

*2025-07-02, version 4.8*

### 5/5 — Seasonality Go

*2024-10-24*

Excellent tool to allow for the study of weather. I use it in conjunction with the free NOAA app. to learn about weather dynamics. I don’t think you can find a more solid basis to further one’s weather interests than this app. Anthony, Denver, Co

### 5/5 — Best weather info I have found

*2024-07-03*

Best info of all the weather apps…
I have been using this for a long, long time. I bought my first iPad when they first went on sale…not sure how long Seasonality Go has been active but it was a long time ago. Just checked and I probably had version 1.0 fourteen years ago.

### 5/5 — Super app

*2024-06-06*

Used for several years. If you love weather this a way to see the origins of how weather works

### 5/5 — Seasonality is still the best

*2024-04-07*

I love being able to see air currents and precipitation in real time- which the standard Apple weather app omits. Ive had Seasonality for years and still go back to it. Thanks to the developers!

### 5/5 — One of the very best weather apps.

*2023-10-30*

I’ve used many different weather apps over many years and Seasonality Go is outstanding and accurate. It is a full-featured weather app and I really like the fact, among other features, that it has a direct link to the NWS Forecast Discussion. I use it on my iPhone, iPad and Mac Studio computer. Great work by the developer!

### 5/5 — The Best Weather App you are going to find.

*2022-10-02*

I have 3 Weather Radar Apps 3 General Weather Apps The App beats everything else hands down. I have Over 800 hundred apps. One of them I have spent close to $100 dollars on in app purchases. This one rates in the top 5 that I own. Now I have the new version 3.0 and it is on my phone. Phenomenal. Hands down the finest and weather app on any phone. Coming back years later since I wrote the first paragraph I just created a new layout with all the info place exactly where I want it. Easy no work I think the programmer and his team are incredible.
