My pending 13% reward + $10 bonus absolutely vanished from the queue of rewards in the Seated app (in pending status). I’ve submitted all the support items needed to obtain my $22 reward, but this is a lot of work for something that is owed to me. ### 1/5 — :| *2025-11-24, version 3.33.10* I accumulated $200+ in rewards, which I lost because they expire unfortunately. They sent me an email regarding the upcoming expiry (even though there was no mention of expiring points in the subject line) but at the time, I was going through a period of depression, during which I was not checking any of my emails. By the time I did get around to checking them, it was too late; my points had already expired. I reached out to customer service hoping for a one-time courtesy, but of course after having read others’ reviews about expiring points, I expected them to decline the courtesy and so they did. So I deleted the app and I’m done with them. An app badge/banner notification would’ve been great in addition to the email notification. An app notification would’ve gotten my attention in time and I could’ve redeemed my points. ### 1/5 — Used to be good *2025-11-17, version 3.33.10* *Update: look into the inKind app as a possible alternative now that seated isn’t any good anymore.* Note how the top review is from three years ago, before they forced you to link a card and screwed over people that were splitting the bill with others, or who paid in cash at the restaurants. They said they don’t care if all their customers stop using the app over it, so that’s exactly what I did. ### 1/5 — This is scam *2025-10-16, version 3.33.9* This is a complete scam. When I had $40 collected they just took away all the credit before I could redeem it. No notice nothing! Another instance my friend who had redeemed it in gift card for target, suddenly that gift card value became 0 ### 1/5 — Expire *2025-10-02, version 3.33.9* Rewards expire without notification ### 1/5 — Used to be good *2025-09-19, version 3.33.8* Note how the top review is from three years ago, before they forced you to link a card and screwed over people that were splitting the bill with others, or who paid in cash at the restaurants. They said they don’t care if all their customers stop using the app over it, so that’s exactly what I did ### 1/5 — Bait and switch on reward percentages *2025-09-12, version 3.33.8* The app is designed in a deceptive way. When you search the map you might see 24% rewards, but then you click on the restaurant and it’ll say 10% rewards today. I get some days may have higher or lower rewards, but by default the map should display TODAY’S reward percentage. ### 1/5 — Cheated not Seated *2025-09-04, version 3.33.8* This app frequently changes its policies, gobbled up my $360 accumulated money since in didn’t use app for 90 days, please cash out your accumulated money ASAP. It recently changed the policy to not allow airlines or other loyalty credit cards ! I predict this company is going down the drain in next 2-3 years! Stay away.. lots of other better cash back apps! ### 1/5 — Careful when ordering *2025-08-16, version 3.33.7* I ordered a pizza from a local company through the Seated app - I literally never left the app to place my order. When it came time to claim my rewards, I was informed the order came through Door Dash and was therefore ineligible. I understand not rewarding when ordering through 3rd parties. What I do not understand is how someone would know this when they never leave the Seated environment when placing an order for pickup. ### 2/5 — Hassle to get reward *2025-08-07, version 3.33.7* The app stop working after it asked to register credit cards. After making payment with preregistered cards, I never got the reward but have to go through the HELP to send receipts and Credit Cards to claim rewards. Happened to me 3 times in a row. The representatives are not nice - they waited like 2 days to respond and asking do I still need help? Of course I need help as I never received the rewards. Someone at Seated needs to look into the operations and customer service! ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work anymore *2025-08-03, version 3.33.7* Used to work great until they made it so you can no longer submit a receipt. Recently dined at a restaurant and did not receive any credit. ### 2/5 — No longer works *2025-07-27, version 3.33.6* This app stopped working a month ago and hasn’t given me anything in over a month. I have two linked credit cards and “activate” a restaurant that says it has 15%- or higher cash back then nothing. Like suddenly Changes erasing hundreds of dollars worth of earned credits. Now forcing linked credit cards that just doesn’t work so I didn’t get my credit. No customer service just lame bots. Can’t make reservations through app any more. This is a scam. The reason I preferred the map search was because I could always find what’s close and try new places. Now, I scroll and scroll and don’t even want to bother because everything is so spread out in my city. Sometimes I even screenshot it before using. Then you do not get the rewards because it was “nonactivated”. So many times I have been missing rewards and have to contact them, send credit card snapshots, go through hoops fo chump change. Not worth the time and rarely works how it used to anymore. ### 1/5 — Used to be great, is a scam now *2026-07-02, version 3.34.0* Since they started the card link system, this app is a scam. They don’t deliver the rewards they claim they will. Ridiculous, I never had issues with the old system, and now I have issues every time. I’m missing money and my purchase went from pending to completely gone. Trash.
