If you bid on a train time, make sure it’s the right one.. :(. I paid £26 for a Secret Fare for Monday/Wednesday next week. Just two minutes after booking, I realised I had accidentally booked the outbound and return trains the wrong way around. I contacted Seatfrog immediately to ask if they could simply swap the trains. I completely accept that the mistake was mine, but I was disappointed that they were unwilling to offer any assistance or flexibility, despite me contacting them almost instantly and more than a week before the journey. As a result, Seatfrog has taken my money but provided me with a service I can’t use. While I understand companies have terms and conditions, good customer service should include some common sense and discretion in situations like this. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend Seatfrog if you value responsive and customer-focused support. ### 1/5 — Solo traveller jammed on end of table *2026-07-09, version 4.4.16* What’s the point of paying fifty quid for an upgrade when you get stuck on a table and end up with less space than the window seat I’d booked in standard class?
