Know exactly where you stand on NRI status — updated every day.

Seatime is the day counter built for Indian seafarers. Log each voyage and see your days outside India for any financial year, calculated exactly as per the Income Tax Act 1961 and CBDT Circular 13/2017.

WHAT SEATIME DOES
• Counts your days outside India per financial year (Apr–Mar)
• Tells you how many more days you need to achieve NRI status (182-day threshold)
• Shows your live status: NRI, Pending, or Resident
• Handles ongoing voyages — the count updates every day you're at sea
• Supports India travel dates (passport departure/arrival) for greater accuracy
• Handles Indian-flag vessels with manual day-count override for port days in Indian waters

YOUR DATA, YOUR DEVICE
Voyages are stored locally in a .seatime file in your Documents folder. Nothing goes to a server. iCloud sync coming in v1.1.

Log sign-on/sign-off dates, vessel name, flag, employer, ports, and CDC voyage number. Add India departure and arrival dates separately for seafarers who fly to join or return from abroad.
