## What is Seating Charts?

Plan every seat with confidence and create a professional seating chart for your wedding, reception, party, conference, or special event.

The app gives you everything you need to build your room layout, organize guest lists, assign seats, and prepare a plan that is easy to share. Start with an empty room or choose from ready-made layouts such as a ballroom reception, garden ceremony, cocktail reception, or gala dinner. Select the room size that suits your event, then add, move, rotate, resize, duplicate, or remove tables and other elements directly on the floor plan.

Adding guests is quick and flexible. Type or paste a list, import people from your contacts, upload a CSV spreadsheet from Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets, or try the app with sample guests. Search guests, organize groups, track who still needs a seat, and see the number of available places at a glance.

Seat guests manually with simple drag-and-drop controls or use automatic seating to fill tables while keeping groups together whenever capacity allows. Built-in checks help confirm that every guest has a seat and that no table is over capacity.

Before the event, review your complete plan with a clear summary of tables, seats, seated guests, and guests still waiting to be assigned. When everything is ready, export the seating plan as a PDF for your venue, planner, caterer, or event team.
