### 4/5 — Good app, bad monetization

*2026-07-14*

The app is pretty sleek, but is full of obtrusive ads and the only way to remove them is subscription, like everything these days. I don’t want to pay subscription for my bus schedules lol even if only a few bucks a month

**Developer response:** We're truly sorry for this frustrating experience. This is not the practice we intend, and we take this concern very seriously. Please contact our support team immediately so we can look into this and make it right for you.

### 1/5 — Cost for pro

*2026-06-27*

As a disabled rider with limited income is there a reduced rate for the pro version?

**Developer response:** Thank you for reaching out! We don't currently offer a reduced rate, but we truly appreciate this feedback and will share it with our team. Please contact our support team directly at support to discuss possible options. We hear you!

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-06-09*

I deleted this app because I’m no longer in Seattle and yet they keep sending me stuff

**Developer response:** We're so sorry about that! Please reach out to our support team at [support link] and they can help get those notifications stopped right away.

### 1/5 — No Means No

*2025-11-16*

Stop bothering me about notifications and location. I said no, what should that mean? Disgusting design.

**Developer response:** We're so sorry for the frustration! We hear you and are looking into how we handle permission requests in version 2025.5.6. Your boundaries should be respected. Please reach out to our support team if this persists!

### 1/5 — Scheduling Nightmare

*2025-11-10*

Looking up when the last train runs? Good luck with this confusing mess of an app. Makes planning ahead a real pain. It’s fine for scheduling a specific trip but useless as a reference.

**Developer response:** We're so sorry the app is making it hard to plan ahead! We're looking into improving how schedule information is displayed. In the meantime, please reach out to our support team and we'd love to help.

### 2/5 — Just One Bus Away you pay for

*2025-08-19*

Doesn’t have actual real time tracking on buses, goes off the same schedule as OBA but also asks you to pay for it while OBA is free. Nice UI and all but not better than what you can get for free.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the honest feedback. You're right that we use schedule-based data similar to OBA, and that's a fair point about value. We'd love to hear what features would make the subscription worthwhile to you. Please reach out at support!

The Seattle Transit: Bus Tracker Team

### 1/5 — Scam

*2025-07-01*

The app offered to buy ad-free version for $5 VERY clearly saying its a one time fee, and not a subscription. I clicked “purchase” only to discover… I subscribed to it with monthly renewal! Omg why, I just don’t get it, spending all this effort to build a nice app and then ruin it with these cheap and dirty tricks in to swindle inattentive people of a few extra bucks. Shame, omg what a shame.

### 5/5 — The best App

*2025-04-20*

Keep up

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for the kind feedback - we appreciate it!

### 5/5 — Was the best way finder for this out-of-town-er

*2025-03-21*

I use this app to get around downtown and various areas while house hunting. It was invaluable in getting me to these locations and 100% accurate. Kudos to the developer.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for the kind feedback - we appreciate it!

### 3/5 — Seniors

*2025-02-12*

Would love to see a one-time fee for seniors. Too expensive for just occasional use. Would love to recommend app to other seniors, but may be too expensive for some.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! 😊 We appreciate the suggestion about a one-time fee for seniors. We want our app to be as accessible as possible, and we’ll definitely consider this idea for future updates. Your support and willingness to recommend us means a lot—thank you! 🚍✨

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2026.8 — 2026-06-09

A big improvement for Live Departure Widgets in this release: you can now pin a station inside a widget. This means that you can now have multiple Live Departure Widgets on your Home Screen, one for each station.

We've been busy during 2026. Here's some of the additions to the app we've made since the start of the year in case you've missed any:

• New custom fonts, including dyslexia-friendly options, available in Settings
• Destination Filters: show only services that stop at your chosen destination from stations and bus stops
• Sort saved stops and stations by distance from your current location
• Service Alert Summaries: quick, easy-to-read disruption overviews
• Improved battery efficiency when using live directions and location features
• Smarter Live Activities with automatic trip completion and journey summaries
• Home & Work locations can now be edited or removed
• Saved places and stations now sync automatically across devices with iCloud
• New Shortcuts and Siri support to start live directions instantly as a Live Activity
• The app now remembers your preferred route choices for regular journeys
• Clearer train departure boards in both the app and widgets

Enjoying the app? A quick rating or review helps a lot. Have feedback or ideas? Send us a message from the Help section in the app.

### 2026.7.4 — 2026-05-19

To celebrate World Awareness Day this month, we've added an extra accessibility feature - custom fonts. From the Settings screen, you can now choose from several easy-to-read fonts that will be used throughout the app, including dyslexic-friendly typefaces.

New: Destination Filters

Just open up a station board, tap on Destination and choose the station you want to get to. You'll only see the services that stop there. Great for busy stations where you want to cut out the noise and focus on the lines that you care about.

Best of all, it works for bus stops as well: tap on Destination and choose the place you're going to, and we'll work out which bus lines from that stop go there.

Previously...

Saved Stops by Distance
Now just tap the toggle on the Saved tab to re-order your saved stops and stations by how close they are to you.

Service Alert Summaries
No more scrolling through long lists of alerts. The app now creates a short summary highlighting the most recent and important disruptions affecting your journey.

Better for your battery
We’ve made major optimisations to how the app uses location and background activity while you’re travelling. You can now tap GO with confidence that it won’t drain your battery.

Smarter Live Activities
Live Activities now end cleanly when you reach your destination. You’ll also see a quick summary of your trip when a Live Activity begins.

Home & Work improvements
You can now edit or remove your Home and Work locations again. Saved places and stations also sync automatically through iCloud, keeping all your devices up to date.

Powerful new Shortcuts support
You can now start live directions directly from Shortcuts or Siri. Instead of opening the app, directions begin instantly as a Live Activity - perfect for routines like starting your commute each morning.

The app also remembers your preferred routes. If a familiar journey is available, it will be selected automatically. Otherwise, just choose a route once and we’ll remember it for next time.

Clearer train departure boards
Train times are now easier to read in both the app and widgets, so you can find what you need at a glance.

If you’re enjoying the app, a quick rating or review really helps.

### 2026.6.1 — 2026-05-04
