App is totally useless, will not find the Seauto and the Seauto support is a joke! ### 1/5 — They have quietly “updated” & replaced the seal with the crab *2024-04-29, version 1.2.1* Now - Is not compatible with app - Can no longer change modes (All Cover, Floor, or Wall only) it is permanently on All Cover only - Redesigned - Now called the CRAB instead of Seal ### 1/5 — Why Bother Making An App? *2024-04-17* I purchased this for my in ground pool and paid over $300. Company pairs it with an app for programming the pool cleaner but the app hasn’t been updated for over 10 months!!! I purchased this pool cleaner from Walmart and if the app doesn’t work with the cleaner, it’s being returned and I will spend my $300 on a cleaner than has an app and is highly rated. So tired of these Chinese companies stating in the product preview that there is an app to control and use the cleaner when programmed but turns out to be utterly useless after purchase and delivery. ### 1/5 — Won't even let you register. DO NOT bother even getting the app. *2024-04-16, version 1.2.1* Keeps saying “server certificate not authorized”. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling and that did not work. It seems this has been an issue now for a few months and nothing has been done! It's like they abandoned the app and left us with a worthless app that you can't even access. Then, after deleting and reinstalling the app, it no longer recognized my password, and wouldn’t accept a new one. It won’t find your robot. That said, the robot seems to work well. I’d like to put it in floor mode instead of all over, but you can’t without the app. Last release was 2 years ago. A waist of money ## Most praised reviews (2 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great app *2024-03-29, version 1.2.1* This is a great app my mom recently got a sea auto shark When I tried adding it to the app it wouldn’t let me add it after I did the user registration WiFi and Bluetooth was connected and my iPhone was right next to the sea auto shark and without it being added to the app I can’t get firmware updates for it and my mom wants to use it to clean our in ground pool and with me I want to use the app but that’s not how my mom wants to do it she doesn’t want to hassle with her phone she just wants to turn it on and have it clean the pool but with the app I won’t know if the battery is low or not and the led light code helps as well but the app is much more convenient not sure y a pool vacuum app is getting bad reviews ### 2/5 — Worked last season. *2024-05-13, version 1.2.1* Doesn’t work any more or connect with my vacuum.
