Many menu's will open and then not go away without closing the app. I used it for a bit to try to have all of my stats in one place, but after the level up process failed halfway through, I'm not planning to use it anymore ### 3/5 — Good UI, not a lot of content *2023-08-15, version 0.63* So the UI on this is good but there are a lot of things from 2e that aren’t in here. I wanted to use it for a companion with the Gears and Guns rulebook and it doesn’t have any of that. (Couldn’t see the text at the top bc like other reviews too big menu), I tried tapping the select button and it just didn’t work, neither did the back button function, so I just couldn’t use the app. Seems like the app could’ve been useful, but doesn’t really function well enough. ### 2/5 — Needs some work and then maybe *2023-03-07* I can’t say much about the functionality of the app because I can’t get past selecting ancestry feats. It also doesn’t fit to page, so there are portions of the app that can’t be seen. And, based on how long it’s been since the app was updated, it appears as if he’s given up on it. Considering the complexities involved in setting up player characters in PF2E, and the volumes of additional material released by Paizo since the Core Rulebook came out, I’m not too surprised that he seems to have given up. ### 3/5 — Great App *2023-01-20, version 0.63* I love the App, but the arcane thesis doesn’t have a menu to select from. It’s my first time playing pathfinder 2e and I needed the reference in an easy to read format. However, the app is also full of bugs and glitches that easily break its expected performances. It does pretty well, but I ran into a bug: when I picked the Skilled heritage for the human ancestry, it wouldn’t let me pick a skill to be trained in. Other than that, I like this! But it is to big on my screen and I can’t select the continue options to where it is literally unusable. It’s good at walking through the setup of a character though if you’re choosing a class that requires a deity or patron that section is blank and no update it appears for the last 5 months as of April 2021. (Though I think this may be a license issue with Paizo as I’ve noticed similar items in other 3rd party apps) The navigation of the app is alright, though some times when opening up a menu item it will not close and remain and you can run into multiple open drop downs and it gets frustrating to close out. Also when creating a character it would be nice for a count of how much left in character building. This is most prevalent in ability scores and and skills. This app is great for building a melee class, I have not yet tried a magic class, other than trying to build a cleric and finding the deity section blank as mentioned before. This is a good app to use especially for beginners to get the feel for building a character in 2e, I hope the developers continue to improve the app. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — I guess this app was abandoned??? *2026-02-12, version 0.63* The D&D version is killer. This one has potential to be just as great but I guess it’s been abandoned? All kinds of stuff missing. Went to make a Gunslinger and can’t :( ### 1/5 — Doesnt work at all *2023-03-18, version 0.63* Select and back buttons just dont work. Well the back one does sort of, it just kinda dumos all progress and puts me on a blank character sheet. ### 1/5 — Do not pay for this *2023-01-25, version 0.63* Incomplete, poorly updated, blank screens frequently when things like Diety selection or martial proficiencies pop up. Whoever made this doesn’t care enough about it. The screen, where uncovered, is also too zoomed in to see essential parts of the text. I clicked on about, and the page is blank and I can’t leave because the exit button is either off screen or under an advertisement. ### 1/5 — Unusable *2021-07-11, version 0.63* What the title says. Banner ads cover necessary menu options. I couldn’t get past choosing an ancestry feat because the ‘next’ button was blocked. Actual garbage unless you pay apparently, and even then, seems pretty clunky and the design looks cheap and ill-fitting. Especially for creating 1st level characters However I contacted the designer on things to update over 2 months ago Specifically a dwarves fighter that wants to take marshal dedication can’t in this AP I allocated the right skills in diplomacy and intimidate and as a fighter I have martial weapon proficiency expert but... it won’t let me take the dedication Also clan daggers? Idk what that is and I don’t see any way to take it as a dwarf ### 1/5 — Flawed *2020-12-31, version 0.63* Algorithms were off for character building and did not create accurate character stats. It’s difficult to slog through the physical copy and character creation can be confusing when you’re learning the system. While I still keep a physical character sheet for games, this app is phenomenal at simplifying character creation and keeping track of stats and feats. Can’t wait to use this for a game. I also have this developers D&D 5E character sheet and while this is already great I know how much more he’ll improve this over time. Will have no problem paying for a premium upgrade. This app appears to be made by a single person. But, it is activly developed so bugs get fixed snd features added all the time. That is remarkable all things considered. I did initially run into an issue with the app crashing while trying to select a skill granted by my background, so I reached out to the seller. He was extremely responsive and worked with me to push out an update fixing the crash, and I haven’t experienced any issues since. As far as I can tell, the calculations for my characters look consistent with the 2e rulebook, and I am quite pleased with the app. ### 5/5 — Very detailed sheet for pathfinder 2e *2020-08-11, version 0.54* Im really happy with all the details included and the sheet is well organized. The design is still rather basic and dark mode was unreadable (fixed already) and sometimes the created character is not saved but I drop 5 star since it has potential and seems like the dev is updating regularly!
