## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Crap

*2022-11-16, version 1.1*

Wouldn’t work on a brand new iPad

### 1/5 — Poorly designed

*2020-04-25, version 1.1*

First this app uses audio to present the words but the robot audio is not easy to hear. And there’s no way to move on or turn it off. Why not provide non audio methods?
Secondly this app is not geared towards children. My kids wondered if the person making the app was even in education. Clearly they need to talk to a teacher who understands how kids think and learn.

### 1/5 — I paid for it and it freeze!

*2019-04-04*

I wanted to use it to help my 2nd grade daughter to learn her weekly 10 words from school to be successfull at her weekly spelling test. The app freeze after we put in the first word to learn.

### 1/5 — I could not get the app to work correctly

*2019-02-21, version 1.1*

I purchased this so that my son could study on his own for his spelling test. After building the spelling list, the spelling games with only do a couple of words and then end. I could not get it to use all the words in any if the games. Spent about 30 minutes trying to figure out how to get it to work right to no avail. So spent two dollars to be able to waste 30 minutes of my time.

### 1/5 — No help

*2017-11-29, version 1.1*

Trying to figure out how to make my own lists for my son and it is impossible to figure out and no help options! Sorry I spent the $1.99.

### 1/5 — Really frustrating flaws

*2017-02-02, version 1.0*

The voice reading the words to you is often hard to understand, and there is no skip function, so if you can't tell what the word is it is frustrating. The add user function doesn't work without an email address, but it says the email is optional. There is no way to get back to the main menu from the add user page without closing the app and reopening it! WTH. Waste of money!

### 4/5 — Good app

*2020-06-18*

Good app, liked the ability to create my own lists

### 5/5 — Very fun spelling

*2019-12-06, version 1.1*

I have been using this app for a while and it is so fun to play and spell words 😄😄👍

### 5/5 — Great app

*2018-04-19, version 1.1*

This spelling app was perfect for us. I write and record the list each week. The app has several different games your child can play using the list. I love that it gives data at the end of each game.

### 5/5 — Great spelling app

*2017-07-25, version 1.1*

I have been searching for a spelling app for my son that isn't "babyish". This one is perfect! Love the premade lists and the ability to make your own. It has lots of different games you can use to study the list of words. My son is an excellent reader but a horrible speller so I love that this one has so many options. I like that there is no distracting music or animation either. Most apps try too hard to make them "cute" instead of focusing on making the actual learning interesting. This one succeeded in being interesting without all the unnecessary stuff.
