### 3/5 — Too many bugs/freezes

*2026-08-26, version 3.24.2*

I really like this app for programming the workout and classes I teach. However, on my Apple Watch, after I finish one class, I’m unable to go and pull up the next workout because it just spins and spins. I have to completely shut down my Apple Watch in order to get it to reset which is annoying.

### 4/5 — Awesome but one recommendation

*2026-08-24, version 3.24.2*

I love this app as a coach but I would love if there were different voices for the text to speech. Something more motivating than the Siri voice

### 4/5 — Best I’ve Found

*2026-08-19, version 3.24.2*

This is the best timer app that I found to build the sets that I am looking for. However, there are still two slightly annoying limitations. The widget it doesn’t work if you have your phone set to liquid glass. If you are doing long sets and want to do a better job color coding certain types of exercises then the color picker is limited. You can choose a few colors, but I don’t know why they don’t simply expose the system color picker.

### 2/5 — Good app terrible sharing

*2026-08-14, version 3.24.2*

The app is great and super intuitive however sharing timers that you’ve created between users is impossible

### 5/5 — One of the best app purchases I made

*2026-08-13, version 3.24.2*

I hardly ever spend money on an app. But this was one of the best $5 app purchases I ever made. Bought it in 2018 or 2019 and it’s been awesome ever since. It’s so helpful and I recommend this app. I’m a CPT and GFI and I would buy this app again in a heartbeat.

### 5/5 — Nice one

*2026-08-12, version 3.24.2*

Love

### 5/5 — Training

*2026-08-12, version 3.24.2*

Best training app I have used

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-08-11, version 3.24.2*

Been using for a while. Love the updates for music and flexibility of using different timers.

### 5/5 — Perfect interval timer.

*2026-08-11, version 3.24.2*

Perfect interval timer for me. I’ve only used for two weeks and have not explored all of the features. But for my needs (warm-up, row, stretch, squats (repeat x number of sets) with optional interval and set change timers, it works.

Definitely worth a try.

### 5/5 — Works great, easy to set up and use

*2026-08-10, version 3.24.2*

Although I have several similar apps, Seconds is my go to. It’s easy to customize for multiple workouts.

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2026-08-10, version 3.24.2*

1. Neon colors on top if neon color is too much. Give the eyes some rest. It’s difficult to discern at a glance the exercise from the background. Create a NEUTRAL background.

2. It did not speak the exercises as advertised. I chose this app first that feature so that I didn’t have to stare at the app.

3. I could not figure out how to add breaks/rests between exercises. Is it possible?

### 5/5 — Instrumental in My Fitness Journey

*2026-08-09, version 3.24.2*

Seconds has been an instrumental tool throughout my fitness journey. It’s simple, easy to use, and makes setting up interval workouts incredibly convenient.

One feature I would love to see added is the ability to import timers from an external file or link. For example, being able to have ChatGPT create a custom timer/workout, export it in a supported format, and then import it directly into Seconds would be a game changer.

Great app overall and one I continue to use regularly!

### 5/5 — Great timer app!

*2026-08-09, version 3.24.2*

It was a little learning curve, but i finally figured out what i needed to get on with training! Awesome for any type of sport you get into!

### 5/5 — Essential and User Friendly App

*2026-08-08, version 3.24.2*

I can’t recommend this app enough. I have used it to structure so many parts of my life - from quiet time to exercise - and it is a must-have for daily life.

It is easy to use, free, and reliable. I highly recommend this app. To its’ creators - thank you for all the ways you’ve helped me achieve my personal goals and reach new heights.

### 4/5 — Good app for interval timers

*2026-08-07, version 3.24.2*

Let’s you make your own custom interval timers. Basic and easy to learn. My only issue is that the companion Watch app eats my Watch battery life. After a 12 hr shift, Watch is under 30% when I started at 100%. This is the only new app installed on Watch in months. Used to be 60+% after 12 hours. Watch app reflects custom timers set in iPhone. Will still use, but worried about Watch batt. life. Thanks.

### 1/5 — Please Fix Widget Issue

*2026-08-26, version 3.24.2*

Already paid for the app, but when click a preset timer from the lock screen widget, the app would open and direct to a screen page that says non-member can only use the timer set for once. Reclaim purchase and delete and recreate timers do not help, and there’s also no other way to reach out for feedback or assistance. So just leaving a review at here, and hopefully this issue will get addressed soon. Thank you!

### 1/5 — Won’t import timers

*2026-08-20, version 3.24.2*

Have a friend that built timers in her app. She tried to share them and it won’t upload we have tried everything including me paying for this ridiculous subscription and nothing has worked.

### 1/5 — Ugh

*2026-08-18, version 3.24.2*

Ever since the ability to have this on my Apple Watch has went away, this app is more annoying than it’s worth. I even paid for this app.

### 1/5 — I like this app but…

*2026-08-08, version 3.24.2*

This is probably just me but I can’t seem to sync custom timers across devices (iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch). I don’t understand the ‘Signed in as Anonymous’ idea and when I look at the ‘intervaltimer’ website I end up with more questions - I can’t see how to log in or sync from there either. I have both he Seconds and Seconds Pro app and have paid for whatever I can pay for on both. I’m just confused. I also can’t seem to see a ‘contact us’ option anywhere which is why this review is going on here. Would love to be contacted…

Having said that, it is super easy to create a custom timers and the full colour screen, alerts and being able to use your own music synced to the timers are all great. This would be a 5 star review if I could sort out the above issues. It is only 1 star because I hope the developers will see it, read it and respond to me. Time will tell.

### 1/5 — Applewatch版がゴミ

*2026-08-08*

iPhoneだとAppleフィットネスのワークアウトを起動しながらタイマーを使用できるのに、Applewatchはワークアウトを停止させる上に音も出ない。

Applewatch版を改善して欲しいです。

### 1/5 — Will not take my money

*2026-08-06, version 3.24.2*

Let me plan out a timed workout, but won’t take my money to upgrade - seems stuck

### 1/5 — Useless without purchase

*2026-07-19, version 3.24.2*

Without purchase it’s just a simple timer

### 1/5 — This is not Free

*2026-07-14, version 3.24.2*

The app lets you customise a timer but then you can’t use without paying.

### 1/5 — Unusable since iOS 26

*2026-07-13, version 3.24.2*

Since the update my timers not showing after a sync and are only showing the old apple workouts (archery badminton etc) instead of my personal timers. I have uninstalled, reset and installed but still the problem persist. No contact details available to share problems with developer.

### 1/5 — No opt out of sharing data

*2026-07-10, version 3.24.2*

I couldn't get past the sign-up process because the app requires users to accept data sharing with no option to opt out. For me, that's a dealbreaker, so I declined and deleted the app.

Users should be able to choose whether to share their personal data rather than being required to consent as a condition of using the app. There are many other apps that provide similar functionality while giving users greater control over their privacy.

The app states:

"Runloop collects Usage Data to improve the app, and shares Aggregated Data with providers. To learn more please read our privacy policy and terms and conditions before continuing."
I would reconsider my rating if the developers added an optional opt-out for data sharing.

I would reconsider my rating if the developers added an optional opt-out for data sharing.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great App for Fitness instructors!

*2026-08-26, version 3.24.2*

Love this app, my co-workers and I use it all the time, for a variety of different fitness classes and workouts. Love that you can copy and paste a workout to create a new one without starting over.

### 5/5 — Super simple, easy to use - could use some flexibility in custom timers. still a 5/5

*2026-08-23, version 3.24.2*

This interval timer app works just as well as any physical timers if you’re a person that doesn’t mind running an app. Though even with some of the features lacking customizations to utilize in a custom timer. I’m still able to put together the timer I needed for my routine. If they gave the customization more flexibility instead of having to copy paste tediously and in addition to alternative music option for the audio… I’d give this app 10 stars if I could. foreals!

### 5/5 — Absolutely the best.. Great app

*2026-08-22, version 3.24.2*

If you know what routine you want to do, and the timings suited to you, then Seconds cannot be beaten. Setting it up is relatively simple, add your sounds and colours and get fit. I use it everyday varying the routines..

### 5/5 — Seconds keeps Focused

*2026-08-22, version 3.24.2*

I love this app. The flexibility, ease of use, the fact that I can add my own music is awesome!

### 5/5 — Top 5 fitness app

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-08-19, version 3.24.2*

Versatile, and allows for multiple options. Love that it is a one time payment rather than subscription. Makes training and planning workouts easy.

### 5/5 — Best timer

*2026-08-18, version 3.24.2*

Simple and effective! Clear voice instruction and very flexible/configurable

### 5/5 — Thanks

*2026-08-16, version 3.24.2*

No complaints but a suggestion . Autoplay from exercise to rest to exercise. I don’t like touching my phone during the workout I lose momentum.

### 5/5 — All Stuff, No Fluff

*2026-08-15, version 3.24.2*

Straightforward, flexible, easy to use. Create your own timers and customize the voice.

### 5/5 — Utile et efficace

*2026-08-13, version 3.24.2*

Permet de programmer un ensemble de programmes adaptés à nos besoins
