### 3/5 — Love the app but…

*2026-08-25, version 3.24.2*

I had all of my timers saved and didn’t use the app for a few months. Opened it and they’re all gone. No way to contact support and get help.

### 3/5 — Like it, but has an inconvenient bug

*2026-08-23, version 3.24.2*

Works great as a timer with music at end. However, there is a bug where if you are connected to any Bluetooth speaker, you have to start the timer (it won’t work through the speaker) then stop and start again and it does work through the speaker. So we have to start/stop/start every timed event we do each night. 10+ events. It’s fine but pretty annoying.

One feature request is to add more options for sounds at the start, halfway and end. Most are not loud enough to hear in a large room even with speaker on max volume.

I would like to play music at the end of a timer only. No other app does this. I can do it by faking a “round” break and putting music to the break. So it works, it’s just clearly a bit of an odd workaround when you could have a differentiated feature.

Otherwise, great app! I’ll happily adjust my rating when the bug is fixed.

### 4/5 — Love it but…

*2026-08-20, version 3.24.2*

Love the app. Use it to coach fitness classes. But… the latest version won’t download on my Apple Watch. Probably because my watch is an older gen. So I need to use my phone which limits my range to see the timer.

### 3/5 — missing functionality

*2026-08-19, version 3.24.2*

Would like the copy and paste feature to work. Also would like to upload CSV files.

### 3/5 — Timer slows down!

*2026-07-30, version 3.24.2*

I love the app but for some reason it slows down, so a 25 minute workout that is EXACTLY 25m ends at like 25:04 total time lapsed. Would not be a big deal except I share the timer on my computer screen from the Web link and they get off, they don’t match. It literally drives me insane I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling it. I’ve tried removing all the timers that I have thinking. Maybe it’s too full and it’s. Literally nothing works. It’s always slow in the app.

### 5/5 — Excellent timer

*2026-07-29, version 3.24.2*

Best timer I have used so far.

### 5/5 — Hands down the best fitness app

*2026-07-27, version 3.24.2*

Being able to create my own workouts, using my own music, tailoring ever prompt and interval to my own needs, has been a total game-changer on my fitness journey. All of the other fitness apps have so much noise, and they end up being overcomplicated….which means I just don’t use them! Seconds is actually a pleasure to use, very easy to manage, and within a couple of clicks I am off and running (or lifting, or walking, or yoga-ing, or whatever I have planned for the day!) Thanks so much.

A few requests: allow folders to be shown in the widget, allow a timer’s audio to be turned off only for one interval (like at the end of yoga, for shivasana, for example), and give us a user-generated template library where we can add or download timers created by each other!

### 5/5 — Simple and works

*2026-07-19, version 3.24.2*

This is very simple to use.

### 3/5 — Crashes

*2026-07-17, version 3.24.2*

I really love this timer but it crashes a lot and won’t even load on my iPad.

### 5/5 — Excellent app

*2026-07-16, version 3.24.2*

Great

### 3/5 — Why do you want me to upgrade?

*2026-07-15, version 3.24.2*

I have been using Seconds Pro for YEARS and love that I can have numerous timers for different formats. But now recently I keep getting an alert that I use it more hours and you want me to upgrade. Cost already went up significantly this year and now you want me to pay more?? Not nice

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2026-07-12, version 3.24.2*

My go to app for HIIT, love it. One concern the ability to change work out after you creat it.

### 5/5 — Great interval app

*2026-07-09, version 3.24.2*

Easy to use, great for making personalized workouts

### 3/5 — Log in

*2026-07-07, version 3.24.2*

Why can’t I Log In? It just says “ANONYMOUS” on the account????

### 5/5 — I love this app

*2026-07-06, version 3.24.2*

I’ve been using Seconds for like 7 years, I love this app so much!!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Information not syncing after updating software and reset phone

*2026-08-11, version 3.24.2*

I’ve had this app since 2019 with no problems. Now with new updates, my saved workouts are not syncing to my watch.

### 1/5 — I really like it but…

*2026-08-08, version 3.24.2*

This is probably just me but I can’t seem to sync custom timers across devices (iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch). I don’t understand the ‘Signed in as Anonymous’ idea and when I look at the ‘intervaltimer’ website I end up with more questions - I can’t see how to log in or sync from there either. I have both he Seconds and Seconds Pro app and have paid for whatever I can pay for on both. I’m just confused. I also can’t seem to see a ‘contact us’ option anywhere which is why this review is going on here. Would love to be contacted…

Having said that, it is super easy to create a custom timers and the full colour screen, alerts and being able to use your own music synced to the timers are all great. This would be a 5 star review if I could sort out the above issues. It is only 1 star because I hope the developers will see it, read it and respond to me. Time will tell.

### 1/5 — Fitness instructor review

*2026-07-24, version 3.24.2*

Doesn’t link with Apple Watch

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2026-07-12, version 3.24.2*

It will not put my new timers on my watch

### 1/5 — COMPLICATIONS DON’T WORK ON APPLE WATCH

*2026-07-07, version 3.24.2*

COMPLICATIONS DON’T WORK ON APPLE WATCH

### 1/5 — importing dont work

*2026-06-18, version 3.24.2*

importing timers to the app does not work

### 1/5 — All is great, small view

*2026-06-17, version 3.24.2*

Love this app and works great. The puzzling issue I have found is you are able to see MORE of the writing for the intervals when using your “small” iPhone, and when using the same timer I. An iPad, you see less words. Wouldn’t it make sense to be able to see more on the iPad.? Have tried everything

### 1/5 — Does not work

*2026-06-09, version 3.24.2*

The iPhone and Apple Watch will perform as expected during a workout, but no data is saved to to Fitness app (I have all permissions granted). Upon completion of a workout on the watch the app will freeze in a Saving Workout state endlessly. Must force quit to use again. No method available for resolution.

### 1/5 — Won't display

*2026-05-31, version 3.24.2*

Updated Review 5.31.26

Based upon the issue of Seconds Pro being downloaded to my watch but not being able to add it as a complication on any watch face, I purchased a series 11 watch (and an iPhone 17), however, the problem persists.
I've tried everything, including deleting the app from my phone and watch and yes, I've toggled the "show on Apple Watch" setting.
In the settings section of Seconds Pro on my iPhone, it shows the (1) watch is paired and (2) the watch app is installed but "Complications enabled" says "no" and I can't change it.
I LOVE THIS APP and have spent a lot of time creating custom workouts so the fact I can't add the app as a complication on any watch face is very frustrating.
Please, please respond!

### 1/5 — Has a hard time syncing with Apple Watch

*2026-05-03, version 3.24.2*

Incredibly annoying and disruptive when I’m trying to teach a class and my watch is failing to connect

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Fave timer app!

*2026-08-24, version 3.24.2*

Most flexible, customizable and easy to use timer app out there!

### 5/5 — The go to for timers

*2026-08-24, version 3.24.2*

For all things timers, this has been my go to for years. Excellent app.

### 5/5 — Brilliant timer for Coaching !

*2026-08-19, version 3.24.2*

I use this timer to coach circuit training / tabata / Pilates and also for my own personal training .. it’s super easy to use - you can use voice or beeps and even gongs for more gentle transitional timers .. I’ve been using this for two years and it’s been a god send for easy class design to suit what I’m teaching. The added bonus is being able to link it to playlists I have in my iTunes library so set the tone for the workout !! Highly recommended app !!

### 5/5 — Practical and flexible

*2026-08-13, version 3.24.2*

I have been using Seconds Pro exclusively for eight years now. It has so many useful features. Sure I can program intervals, Tabatas, rest periods, like with many timers. Here are some features I find particularly useful.
1. Text to speech gives me the name of the next exercise without looking at the timer.
2. Copying pasting of individual exercises between timers.
3. Forget my iPad with freshly programmed timers at home? Automatic continuous backups allow me to download the most recent iCloud backup to my iPhone.
4. Use my timers on my Apple Watch.
5. The Quick Intervals on the Apple Watch App is very well designed and permits the quick programming of intervals of several exercises with breaks in a breeze.
6. Easy and intuitive user interface.
This is the best fully featured timer for my needs. I use it on a daily basis.

### 5/5 — Worked great the first time I played it, and then the songs wouldn’t play with the intervals.

*2026-08-11, version 3.24.2*

This looks like a great timer for keeping me contract with the multiple Physical therapy exercise that I get assigned each week. I like that it comes with timer is already set up that I can modify for the specific exercises and timings prescribed by the physical therapist. I found this because I had thought of the idea of choosing a different song for each exercise and playing a clip of it. That is the length of time that I’m supposed to be doing that exercise such as 90 seconds for the first exercise with one song and then two minutes for the next song.

Before finding out about this app, I had tried to set this up manually, using song clips and imovie, but it was becoming really difficult to put the total time elapsed and interval timers visible on top.

A friend did an AI search for me to try to help me find a solution and this app was recommended by AI. So far it looks great. I did figure out how to upload multiple songs to the same timer so it can switch from one song to another. You add the audio to the individual intervals instead of using the ad audio prompt for the whole workout. It was awesome! However, after I did that and played it through once, I never could get any audio (music) to play again with the timer. After the first run through, all I heard were the voice prompts, no music.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-08-09, version 3.24.2*

We use the app for everything from exercise, to tanning, to cooking. Very versatile!

### 5/5 — very functional

*2026-08-06, version 3.24.2*

I love how you can customize the timers to fit your needs and also that your music isn’t interrupted when starting, stopping and using the timer.

### 5/5 — This app rocks!

*2026-08-05, version 3.24.2*

Seconds Pro makes my life easier as an OTF coach. Having it vibrate on my arm to remind me a change is coming up so I can better focus on a member without constantly checking the time allows me to level up as a coach and give our members me a better experience.

### 5/5 — Still Exceptional

*2026-08-04, version 3.24.2*

This has been my go-to app for all things timing since 2012. Love that you can go from a quick preset timer to a fully customizable one. Being able to share with other coaches has been great too.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-07-30, version 3.24.2*

I’ve had the app for 10 years and it’s spectacular
