## What is SecondTour?

Second Tour helps you estimate your retirement income as a U.S. military service member, a federal civilian employee, or — uniquely — both.

MILITARY RETIREMENT
Estimate your retired pay under High-3, Final Pay, or BRS, including VA disability compensation, SBP/VGLI premiums, Tricare costs, and estimated taxes.

FEDERAL CIVILIAN (FERS/CSRS)
Estimate your annuity, FERS Supplement, TSP withdrawals, Social Security, and survivor benefit elections.

MILITARY → FEDERAL TRANSITION
If you served in the military and later worked (or plan to work) for the federal government, Second Tour is the only calculator that connects the two — estimating your military service credit deposit, showing your combined income timeline, and directly comparing "transition now" against "wait a few more years" so you can see which comes out ahead in total income, based on your own COLA and TSP assumptions.
