It continues to disconnect me, and says I have to delete the app. When I try to sign back in it refuses me saying I need better connection. It’s become poor and unstable. Please bring out updates to fix this. My standard music that I work with is unbearable, I need to be able to change the songs or I fear I’ll go insane. I can’t stand another Lilly Allen playlist... ### 3/5 — Christmas *2019-12-21, version 5.0.3* Should add Christmas songs ### 2/5 — Songs can be overridden. *2019-08-10* Ok, but what is the point in paying for songs when the staff wherever you are can just cancel them? ### 4/5 — Love it! 😍 *2018-02-08* Super fun to use and great selection of tunes, we like playing guess who whose this with or friends when in our local for a 🍻 If I could only find more venues with it in Dalston I’d give it an extra star! ### 5/5 — Good fun in the pub *2018-02-05* Been using this for a while now and is always a fun addition to a night out down the pub. ### 2/5 — Good idea, but needs improvement *2018-01-16* The song selection is not great, the search is bugged, and you cannot "follow" an artist to see if any new tunes from them come up. So, in the end, selecting a tune is time consuming and frustrating at best. The rules to improve your status are unclear, and if you beat someone to DJ or Top Dog you realise that songs were counted from the basic ones on, so if they had selected 5 out of their allowed 9, and you beat them, they will have 1 song left rather than having used up their additional songs first - so the fact they have been DJ at one point is completely nullified. This applies also to when you visit several different venues: your song limit applies to all, which is per se quite absurd, but it also means that if you were DJ in one place, but used only 6 of the 9 songs, and move to somewhere where you're a regular, you have no songs you can choose. I understand that they want you to buy additional songs, but the available tunes are not tempting enough anyway, and giving poor service is not a tempting way to prompt us to spend. **Developer response:** Hi Shebali, Being a DJ or Top Dog is deliberately venue specific - that way seemed fairest. It just logs in let’s me see my profile and who else logs in to the venue. The. Point. Of. This. Farce. So someone becomes a “DJ” of the pub, choosing between 7 songs. Make a selection, never hear it. Great job guys! Get in the bin. In the meantime... When you become "DJ" of the pub your song request always comes on next which we think is pretty cool. It’s so confusing! ...and now you have to pay? Was a great app, but no longer... and all the FAKE reviews on the app store are beyond embarrassing! **Developer response:** Hi Steveykc, Before I head off to the job centre could you please try the following... To choose songs, just select the venue you're in and click on the big green JUKEBOX button in the middle of the screen. From there you'll be able select songs from themed playlists or search by song or artist. In terms of song requests, nothing has changed. All Secret DJ venues give you free song requests every day - how many you get depends on the venue. You can also increase your credits by checking-in to become a regular or entering voucher codes. Of course you can buy extra credits if you really want to but that's purely optional - Secret DJ is and will always be free. I haven’t seen this mentioned on the app details, but you get 3 free songs per day, only after you use up the free credits do you get asked if you want to pay for more songs. I’m surprised how few people know about Secret DJ, get it and introduce your friends to it, you could have all your music choices between you all night. ### 5/5 — Love this app *2022-07-26* This is such a fun app, been using it for years now.
