The only issue (which seems to have been corrected in the second game )
Is that it’s extremely difficult to use your inventory on iPhone without it keep exiting the game

I love point and click adventures so played them all and enjoyed this one. Unfortunately it’s not one of the top greats like monkey island or maniac mansion etc. Gameplay is fine. Storyline is pretty dumb but that is standard for a pseudo James Bond / Indiana Jones type of adventure. Translation from German is poor and it is jarring to have US accents for the dubbing when the characters are Irish/German/Russian/Cuban etc. Final niggle is the script is littered with casual misogyny and lazy stereotypes for no apparent reason. I usually gloss over this in other games but the jokes just weren’t... well they weren’t really even jokes. If you can’t write entertaining quips...don’t try to. You’re not clever for having drunk Irishmen and dancing sexy Cuban ladies. At one point my eyes rolled so far to the back of my head I thought they’d get stuck there.

Also ich bin ja Adventure Zocker der ersten Stunde und die Rätsel in Monkey Island waren schon wirklich verrückt, aber Geheimakte Tunguska übertreibt es teilweise. So einige Rätsel sind wirklich abstrus und absurd und nur durch bloßes, stumpfes Ausprobieren zu lösen. Und selbst dann bleibt so manches Stirnrunzeln. Mit Logik kann man auf einige Dinge nicht kommen. Die sind dann wirklich ziemlicher Unsinn. Und ich habe schon viel Phantasie. Frotteetuch in Tran tränken, wird dadurch schwer, auf Aufzug werfen, der dadurch abstürzt? Na ja....Eigentlich ein gutes Adventure, genau die Art, die ich mag, aber so nur 3,5 Sterne.

One of the better point 'n click adventure games I've played--LOTS of content. Liked the highly developed storyline and numerous characters. Some of the dialogue was silly or weird but generally that was fine, even with the few language translation oddities. Well developed diary. Very nice that there were in-game hints, if needed, though I prefer not to use them. Some of the "puzzles" (really solutions to a situation problem) were too obtuse; I prefer those kinds of puzzles to just matching colors or clicking on locks but got fed up with some of them. Also, pros and cons on how the characters moved. They looked pretty natural a lot of the time but other times really weird. And having to walk specific paths to look at an object was goofy--even if the character was acutally closer to the item before clicking on it they had to step through the right squares to "line up" however they were "supposed to." Overall am a fan of the game but some of these issues were annoying enough to take you out of your immersion in the game at times.

An entertaining game. Some of the challenges require solutions that do not make sense. Otherwise, the story and process of moving through it hold your attention. For me, it was well worth the money.

Отличная игра. Интересная, длинная. Иногда зависала при попытке сохраниться. Но автосейвы достаточно частые- так что норм. Встроенное прохождение не особо понравилось. Пару раз пришлось искать в сети.

Das Spiel habe ich schon vor Jahren aufm PC gespielt und freue mich riesig, dass ich es jetzt aufm iPad habe. Spannendes, abwechslungsreiches Adventurespiel mit guter Hintergrundgeschichte. Ein bißchen was fürs Herz und zum Schmunzeln ist neben den vielen Rätseln auch dabei.   Der Mini-Walkthrough ist sehr hilfreich, falls man mal in die falsche Richtung denkt :) Eins meiner Liebsten Spiele!

Unlike a lot of people who have reviewed this game, I hadn’t heard of it before but thought it looked good. I wasn’t disappointed, I absolutely loved this game. Nice length, great unusual ways of using your inventory items to achieve your objective. Absolutely awesome, held my interest right the ya through. I especially liked how, at the end, they told you what happened to all the characters. I am just about to start playing the follow up game now, can’t wait 😃.

Unfortunately trying to drag an inventory item will drag the entire app off the screen. 

I got used to touching the icon very very very lightly a few times which worked once in a while. 

I decided to save my place in the game by overwriting a previous save and it crashed. I lost all of my progress. 

At that point I gave up. I’m going to try one of the later versions but I’m really disappointed because I was hoping to binge play the whole series since it looks so good!

If you fix everything I’ll come back and change my rating!

There is a fault with this game. The fuse box key does not work to enable the guy playing the music to be turned off in the 1st chapter. I have tried every option to make it work but to no avail. Refund please.

A reasonable game all in but some of the acting and script is terrible and it contains some very tired and somewhat objectionable cliches about Russians, the Irish and the mentally ill. The humour was not funny.
With a different script writer it could have been really good.

There appears to be a glitch which prevents me from adjusting or tampering with the satellite dish outside the hospital. Disappointing that I won’t be able to finish the game.

I have solved the coin puzzle and even used the in game solution but it won’t let me move on. I bought all three of these to play back to back but I’m now stuck in the game. Is thus a bug.!!!

Loved the character development, voice acting, puzzles and storyline. Puzzles and item combinations were challenging, but rewarding. I much prefer this games “drag to combine” icon turning green when it’s correct as opposed to Secret Files 2 and 3 just *boinging* at you ENDLESSLY when it’s wrong.

Ce jeu est très bien j’y avait déjà joué sur wii (il y a très longtemps 😅) 
Alors certes il a un peu vieilli mais j’ai pu constater qu’ils lui ont fait un petit lifting c’est toujours ça ^^
Sinon pour le jeu en lui même il fait parti de l’âge d’or des point n click alors si comme moi vous avez the nostalgie de cette ère foncez

This game brought me back to when I played it on my first computer on the kitchen table. It’s been a long time and it’s so fun to play and remember as I went along. It’s so much easier on my iPad then it was with a mouse. Thank you for bringing this back to us!!!!

Dieses Spiel ist einfach rundherum gelungen. Toller Spielspaß, keine zusätzlichen In-App-Käufe, dazu eine gute Story und gut ausgedachte Charaktere. Nebenbei auch noch eine ordentliche Portion Humor.

Jeu ancien certes, mais qui n’a rien à envier aux nouveaux. Une durée de jeu conséquente, de nombreux lieux, et rien de facile.
Je l’avais fait à sa sortie, c’est un bonheur de le refaire bien plus tard….et de ramer encore..!!!
