## What is Secret Notes?

Secret Notes is the private notepad for everything that’s nobody else’s business: thoughts, lists, plans, recordings. No account, no tracking, no ads — your notes stay on your device, encrypted and behind PIN or Face ID.

This update fixes an unlock loop that could occur with Face ID and the "Immediately" auto-lock setting, and brings a large set of improvements:

• Cloud Sync Now: one tap checks whether to upload or restore — nothing is ever overwritten without asking, and you're warned when your newest cloud backup is older than 14 days
• Automatic save: closing the editor now saves silently (can be turned off under Settings → Editor)
• Encrypted exports: JSON and CSV exports are now encrypted by default; an opt-out toggle is available
• Export your notes as a single PDF, honoring the active search and filters
• Checklists: collapsible Open/Completed groups in the editor
• Create folders directly from the note editor
• Folder counts now include notes in subfolders
• Note titles are now unique, so note links always find the right note
• Restore all trashed notes with one tap
• Reorder notes any time — the reorder button now switches to custom sorting automatically
• Share sheet: content shared while a note is open is appended to that note
• CSV export now includes attachments; starter categories on first launch
• Settings: legal links, attachment size overview, and more
