Secret Pearl is a private relationship journal for photos, videos, words, places, and plans. Save a quick thought or collect a whole day of memories, without needing a title or an account.

SAVE A MOMENT
Write a few words, add photos or videos, and choose the date that belongs to the memory. Photo-date suggestions help with older pictures. A compact editor keeps your writing close, while attachment tools let you choose a cover, adjust crops, reorder photos, and add places.

FIND YOUR STORY
Browse Moments as a list, photos, or a timeline. Search writing, saved places, and songs. Filter by month, category, or Favorites and keep the same selection when switching views.

LOOK BACK AND LOOK FORWARD
See your days together and revisit a memory on Today. Keep ideas in Plans, organize scheduled and someday plans, and add a memory after a plan is complete. Optional local reminders help you save or revisit a moment.

KEEP YOUR JOURNAL YOURS
Pearl does not create an account or send your journal to a Pearl server. Your journal stays on this iPhone. Use optional Face ID or your device passcode to lock the app.

BACKUP AND RECOVERY
Save a journal backup to Files and restore it on another iPhone, including during initial setup. Review backup contents before merging or replacing. Unfinished drafts are kept separately and are not included in saved-journal backups. Recently Deleted helps you recover removed moments.

Optional Apple Maps and Apple Music features connect to Apple when you use them and may require internet access. iOS may include Pearl data in device backups according to your settings. Pearl does not sync or share journals between people.

• Moments you delete stay deleted, even if you disconnect and pair again later.
• Photos still on their way now show a friendly syncing indicator instead of a blank tile.
• Invite links that were never used expire after 14 days for extra privacy.
• New videos are optimized to save iCloud space — flip on Keep Full Video Quality in Settings if you'd rather keep the original file.
• A new Sync Diagnostics screen under Partner Sharing shows exactly where your journal stands.
