Every two days, it prevents me from using the app without having it updated. I’ve never had an app that updated this much. My phone doesn’t need to have an update this much. It gives off the desire to delete the app and never use it again, because it’s very confusing. It makes the app very unappealing. There’s no guessing. Even when I’ve had to use the gps location function for a shop there was no problem. It’s laid out pretty similarly as the website but because it remembers me, login is a breeze and I can find new shops and see which ones I have to complete in no time. I recommend all Secret Shoppers use the app! ### 5/5 — Getting paid to BE! *2025-08-26* I’ve been a secret shopper for two months now, and it’s been such a fun experience playing undercover quality control. I get to do what I love—shop and eat—while getting paid, reimbursed, or both! I’ve already reached the established classification, and my assignments just keep getting better and better, both in opportunities and pay. Use Field Agent or EyesonGlobal instead *2026-01-21, version 5.6.14* UPDATE: It’s now January (7 months since I did the work) and I have still not received my check. I reached out after the 60 day period to get the new check with the lesser amount and multiple people emailed me about sending the check, but never followed through. They also kept changing how I would receive the new check: one said an e-mail check, one send they’d send out the same check again, and another wanted a lot of personal information in order to send it through ACH. Honestly this all feels like I scam and I deleted my account because it wasn’t worth the back and forth, then ghosting, to try to get my money. I did my first job back in August and was supposed to get my check in September (which is already longer than expected because I did it before the payment cut off in August) and USPS lost my check. Their policy is apparently if they have to reissue the check they take the money out of YOUR PAYCHECK. So I did a $30 job and I have to wait 60 days now and will get a $15 check instead. If I wait less than 60 days then it would be $40 which is LESS than the job I did! Thanks for nothing!! Use Field Agent or EyesonGlobal instead. Where is the $50 you idiots owe me? ### 1/5 — Bad payouts *2025-11-04, version 5.6.9* Poor offers and low payouts. Did my shops exactly as described but was not firm the promised payout. No reason given either. This is bad business and I hope you fail as a company ### 1/5 — Late paydays and rejected Shop reports despite full detail given. *2025-10-29, version 5.6.9* Company takes over 60 days to pay you out for your labor. Sometimes you will complete a Shop assignment in full detail and the editor will reject it, and then hound you for edits within 24 hours to appease their corporate clients. Don’t waste your time; not worth it for side cash. ### 1/5 — Never got payment *2025-10-08, version 5.6.5* I did two shops for them and they owe me $45. They supposedly mail checks but I never got mine. When I emailed them they replied this “talk to the post office, thanks”. Definitely won’t be doing any more shops for them. If a check is lost in the mail and needs to be reissued, for fraud protection reasons the bank requires a stop payment to be placed on the original check which incurs a $15.00 administrative fee. There is a $40 for reissue requests within 60 days, and $15 for checks older than 60 days, which are deducted from the total payment. As a secret shopper it’s my job to find client’s employees who aren’t following company policies and not doing their job. Per client briefing. This one shop I did the clients employee “refused to give any information to complete my shop. As to what I stated in the shop survey! My shop was canceled and my secret shopper account was closed for no reason!! I’m still awaiting my paychecks!!!! Avoid this secret shopper company!!!!! ### 1/5 — Not worth it *2025-08-15* When I got this I was thinking that I was gonna be going into stores and being a secret shopper so I got everything filled out and a lot of the questions were really weird like why are you asking me these questions that have nothing to do with the job after I got all set up I was hoping to start secret shopping but the only thing there is is a waitlist for dept relief and that’s the only thing and I zoomed out on the app and halfway across the country there is 1 location and it is also dept relief so I’m pretty sure this is just a big ol scam **Developer response:** I understand how frustrating it can be to feel like you're not getting the opportunities you expected. Then they find one little thing wrong with your report and will not pay you and you’re just out.
