### 3/5 — Could be better

*2013-06-23, version 1.1*

I enjoy it overall BUT the objects repeat too much and are often too hard too see (as in even using s hint I can't see them due to color or darkness of the image). It gets boring doing the same images over and over again. Variety people, especially as we are paying a pretty good sum for this. Also, very very hard to adjust closer view on paintings without triggering a tap where none was intended.

### 3/5 — This is O.K.

*2012-10-17, version 1.1*

The story line is weird and then just stops. I found that disconcerting. Even if I wasn't following the story, the picture/puzzles just stop. No sense of completion, just
a weird sense of being dumped off. I did enjoy the
finding of the articles on the list, the different pictures.
Although, I don't think I saw the pictures, as much as I
looked through them, for all the items!!

A bit expensive for something that lasted only a few day's.

### 4/5 — I keep coming back to it

*2012-08-17, version 1.1*

The background art is a wonderful hunting ground for items, some with mysterious names. For me, an enjoyable way to spend a half hour every now and again.

### 4/5 — More!

*2012-07-22, version 1.1*

Kept me entertained for hours! Hope there are many more coming. I like finding differences too.
I did expect the story line to be connected to the pictures or items tho. It took some getting used to
the terms for some items.

### 3/5 — Fun but disappointing art

*2012-04-20, version 1.1*

This game is fun and relaxing, but I was hoping for more interesting art to play with and explore. I am half way through and every single painting has been of the same genre of late neoclassical or post pre-raphealite art from the late 19th century. Surely a broader range of art could have represented.

### 4/5 — secrets of Great Art HD

*2012-03-21, version 1.1*

I don't need a bunch of lines or characters to say I could play this game all day! I'm just sorry it doesn't have more than 60 levels!

### 5/5 — Fun game!

*2012-02-12, version 1.1*

I enjoyed being introduced to artists I wasn't familiar with.
I wonder if the developer was outside the US? Canada, or UK?
Some of the names of objects seem British to me like "biscuit" for a pic of a cooky. But that only makes the game more fun and harder.
This is much different from the Big Fish hidden object games where there are levels and puzzles to solve; and a strong storyline. This is, simply, FIND THE HIDDEN OBJECT. (Not that there's anything wrong with that!)
Now I'm interested in trying other games by this developer.

### 4/5 — The Mom

*2012-01-22, version 1.1*

Really enjoy the game. Some of the object descriptions are a tad vague, and the story is more than I choose to deal with, but I love finding the objects and the art is incredible!

### 4/5 — Love it, but?

*2012-01-05, version 1.1*

Love it. A nice change from all the hidden object games with the terrible story lines.
But what I don't like is looking for cabbage and it's cauliflower when you finally find it. There are many errors like that. Also very small so you have to enlarge, and no matter how careful you are you cause touchs you did not mean to do. Still fun to play. Keep them coming but please correct the errors. Love seeing the beautiful Art work.

### 4/5 — Puzzle

*2012-01-03, version 1.1*

I love that their is different type of puzzle to figure out. I also worry that the next puzzle is the last. Great app.

### 4/5 — Beautiful to Look at...

*2011-12-30, version 1.1*

...Interesting to play. I love the music and the picture selection, and the mixture of hidden object and spot-the-difference games is nice. My only complaints are the same as I have with their Hidden Object Crosswords, which I also loved: 1) while each word in the list matches only one item, there's often two possible candidates (eg, two eggs (one whole, one broken), two mirrors (one on a wall, one handmirror), two shells (different types), etc.); tap the wrong one and you're penalized; 2) less irritating, the names and objects in the game showed a definite cultural bias (Dutch?) which took awhile to get used to (eg, "soother" instead of "pacifier", a bread knife and coffee pot that don't look anything like their American equivalents, etc.).

### 1/5 — Too blurry!

*2019-05-24, version 1.21*

Way too blurry on my iPad. A waste of my money.

### 1/5 — Doesn't work

*2017-01-22, version 1.2*

I have to keep installing , fixes it for a few minutes
Save your money

### 1/5 — Hints do not work sorry I bought this!

*2016-01-08, version 1.2*

Hints do not work. Reinstalled then they work once or twice. Don't waste your money on this one!!

### 1/5 — Secrets of Great Art

*2015-11-15, version 1.2*

Love this game, but just got an iPad Pro and it doesn't work properly. 😟

### 1/5 — Won't play.

*2015-09-02, version 1.2*

Moves to right can't get whole picture. Can't play. Was fine when it played.

### 1/5 — Great art and camouflage.

*2011-05-21, version 1.1*

Pros:
Very nice artwork.
Very nice camouflage.
These two already mean that the game blows away all the hidden object games where items are "hidden" just by piling them on cluttered shelves, rather than camouflaged as part of the art.
Hasn't crashed yet.
Zoom feature on the hidden object puzzles. (zooms to the perfect amount to let you work on the larger picture in four quadrants.
Clever "spot the difference" puzzles too.
No time limits (as of 20-May-2011)
This is a big deal for me. I find hidden object games a great way to relax around bedtime. Since it's hard to feel too relaxed when a timer is ticking down, I'm happy that the game designers removed that time limit on their last update.

Cons:

No zoom feature on the spot the difference puzzles. (not too big a deal, but I'd like it if you could spread and zoom on either the left or right image, and then both images would zoom the same amount)

### 2/5 — It has been abandoned.

*2017-05-20, version 1.2*

It needs to be upgraded, it won't work on subsequent upgrades. The pictures are interesting but the story makes no sense.

### 2/5 — Have to keep reinstalling

*2015-05-26, version 1.2*

I am having an ongoing problem with this game, a weird, bothersome little glitch. If I happen to be playing the game and close up my Ipad while the app is still open, the image is all off-center when I open it back up, with a black edge on the left side. I can't even access the whole picture to find the hidden objects. Very bothersome. Other than that, the game is fun, or would be, if I could play it!

### 2/5 — What's the point?

*2012-07-18, version 1.1*

With the good reviews for this game, I expected a coherent story that integrated at least minimally with the works of art. Perhaps the connection will be revealed in the next part, but I won't bother buying it. Also thought there would be interesting art, instead of second-rate 19th/early 20th-century sentimental schlock.

HO puzzles are better than most, and the spot-the-differences games were a welcome change of pace, but they all got tedious by the end. I kept waiting for a pay-off for my patience, and then the game ended.

### 2/5 — Repetitive art and hidden objects

*2012-04-21, version 1.1*

The hidden objects are weird and repetitive and not very well hidden. The only thing keeping me from clearing the picture of hidden objects immediately is that the item list is limited to a specific few objects at time. The art is all from the same genre, which is terribly disappointing. This game went from okay to boring very quickly. Good points: The comparison pictures are challenging and the story is intriguing. The story is the only reason why I finished out the game (although I heavily utilized the hints feature just to get past the art quickly and on to the next chapter in the story).

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — To be continued?

*2015-09-12, version 1.2*

When? I've played this game so many times. Are you going to provide a sequel? Please?

### 5/5 — Won't save my previous levels

*2015-01-08, version 1.2*

Beautiful looking, great game, even love the music. I had an issue with it not saving my game levels, but re-installed and now it's fixed. I happen to love this period of art and can spend hours with it. Now that it doesn't keep bumping me back to the beginning I can't wait to see the later setups. Wish there were more like this!

### 5/5 — Great Art

*2014-03-04, version 1.1*

Really enjoyed viewing the artwork ... add hidden objects and the story ... I want to go on, but can't find how to buy full version ... Can you help me.

### 5/5 — Great!

*2013-08-05, version 1.1*

I love this game. The pictures are nice, and I enjoy the soothing music. I went through all the games and started again. I wish there were new ones. This is the best game of this type that I have found. When you find a hidden picture, you know what it is - no guessing of what you found. Nice and clear. I love it!

### 5/5 — Art hidden picture

*2013-07-13, version 1.1*

I really enjoy this app, just wish there were more than just 60 levels. I went through those quickly and am on my 2nd round, would like many more pieces of art w/hidden pictures.

### 5/5 — Love this game

*2013-06-02, version 1.1*

I really love this game. Have replayed it several times, will replay again. Eagerly waiting for the continuation. Don't care so much about the story, just want more puzzles. I really love the paintings too. Interested me enough to go do more research on the painters.

### 5/5 — Great game

*2013-05-25, version 1.1*

I like wasting time on something that is entertaining and still makes my brain work. It is challenging and fun. I, too, wish there was more, more, more. I've been through it 3 times, now, as different players. Thought it would be a snap since I'd played it before but that is not 100% true. Still a challenge. I also bought other hidden object games and they were in no way comparable. I'd pay for updates with more pictures!! Please hurry!!!!!

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2013-05-17, version 1.1*

Difficult to find items make it a challenge but it is a great game if you like to spot differences or find hidden objects

### 5/5 — Yuuuup!

*2012-12-24, version 1.1*

If you do not have this game, why is that? You really have game you really need to get it, and it is one of the best of hidden object games I have come across.

Yes it is a little expensive but it is well worth it. It has some of the best graphics I've come across. Some of the items are hard to find, when you come across one of those items, good luck, look for those items a unlikely spot. GOOD LUCK!!!

### 5/5 — This is a very nice early hidden object game

*2012-02-26, version 1.1*

The artwork is beautiful and interesting, and the story is kooky. Loved it first on the PC, and now on the iPad! This has no adventure elements, it is simply a HOG with spot the differences.
