## What is Sectional AI?

Sectional AI is an independent contract assistant for airline pilots, built by a working line pilot. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Delta Air Lines, ALPA, or any airline or union. Access requires verification as a covered pilot — the app is distributed by direct link to its member audience.

ASK YOUR CONTRACT
Type a question in plain English — "What is a Flight Duty Period and when does it end?" — and get an answer grounded in the governing documents: the Pilot Working Agreement, the Scheduling Reference Handbook, and FAR Part 117. Every answer carries its citation, and tapping a citation opens the exact passage, verbatim and highlighted. AI-generated prose is always labeled as AI. If the answer isn't in the documents, the app says so instead of guessing.

WORKS OFFLINE, BY DESIGN
Document search runs entirely on your device. When you're online, answers come from a more capable cloud model; when you're offline — or whenever you choose — an on-device model answers instead, on supported hardware. Your contract documents travel with you at FL350.

YOUR FLYING LIFE, ORGANIZED
• Flight Schedule — your rotations decoded: legs, duty, rest, and layovers, with live gates and delays when online.
• Logbook — FAA-ready entries built from the trips you actually flew. Times are facts, not guesses: a missing value stays blank rather than being invented.
• My Money — trip pay, per diem, and take-home projections computed from published pay tables with deterministic math, never AI. Every estimate is labeled an estimate.
• My Seniority — your system and category standing, monthly movement, and the retirements ahead of you, read directly from the published list.

PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE
No telemetry. No analytics. Your questions are never logged by the developer. Online answering sends only your typed question and the retrieved contract excerpts — never your identity, schedule, or employee data. Your profile and schedule stay on your device, and cross-device sync is end-to-end encrypted; the server cannot read it.

MEMBERSHIP
Sectional AI is for verified covered pilots. Sign-in uses your work email — a one-time code, no password. Contract content is delivered only to verified members who already hold these documents in their professional capacity.

IMPORTANT
This app is a research tool. Final authority on contract interpretation rests with the PWA, the Delta MEC, and the FARs. Consult ALPA representatives for grievance or enforcement matters. Under the Railway Labor Act, comply with company directives in real time and dispute through the grievance process — fly now, grieve later.

Two ways back into your logbook.
Setup now offers a recovery passphrase alongside your Recovery Key. Either one
restores your synced logbook on a new device — lose one and the other still
works. It's optional, and you can add it any time under Settings › Recovery.

Setup no longer stalls without a signal.
The Recovery Key step used to stop dead if your connection dropped part-way. It
now keeps trying on its own and finishes as soon as you're back in coverage.

Inviting another pilot actually works.
Your QR code and share link now open a page showing your invite code, and new
pilots are asked for that code during sign-up — so a pilot who joins on your
code is credited to you.

Also fixed
• Logbook history dates each flight by its origin station's local day.
• Contract answers cite the exact paragraph more often instead of falling back
  to the parent section.
• The on-device AI download checks for the space it actually needs before it
  starts, instead of failing part-way.
• "Resend code" at sign-in now confirms it sent and shows a short cooldown.
• Updated the 2026 per diem answer.
• Clearer wording on the monthly cloud-answer limit and on redeeming an App
