## What is Secureel?

Secureel is a private vault for videos you do not want exposed.

Import or record videos, keep them in an encrypted local library, and play them from the vault without manually managing decrypted copies. Each file uses its own encryption keys, while your vault password protects access on this device.

When you need to send a video out, Secureel can create a protected `.sreel` copy with a strong sharing password. You can also add notes, choose covers, set separate passwords for sensitive files, and restore your library from an encrypted backup.
