Now the app takes you to the web to donate. What, then is the point of the app? ### 1/5 — Useless *2019-05-02* Was advised by my Church I could download and use this to tithe. Went to Apple store and it says I downloaded but no app on phone screen. I opened in App Store and was able to start creating an account but when I hit donate took me to Safari but did not open despite being connected to high speed Wifi ### 1/5 — Safari... *2019-01-24* Pointless as it takes you to Safari. **Developer response:** Thank you for your review! The SecureGive Vision app can link you to Safari OR has the ability to accept donations fully within the app including the use of ApplePay. If your organization is wanting to use in-app giving, it just requires a valid organization to complete a few additional setup steps. Simply have your organization email our support team at support@securegive.com and we can help! ### 1/5 — A waste of time *2018-06-27* All this app does is launch the Safari web browser, then you donate or update your account on a web page. Create a bookmark in Safari and you won’t need this app. **Developer response:** Thank you for your review! The SecureGive Vision app has the ability to accept donations fully within the app while also adding the ability to use ApplePay. To do so, it just requires your organization to complete a few setup steps. Email our support team at support@securegive.com and we can help your organization get this setup for even faster mobile donations! ### 2/5 — Recent Update Screwed Up This App *2021-05-26* Used to work fine on my iPhone but now won’t scroll to see the rest of the sign in screen. Also Face ID completely fails despite my having done everything asked. I cam still log in manually as I sent a donation to my church this afternoon but no luck with Face ID. Please update this app and fix it - it is ready important for our church’s finances. Thanks. ### 2/5 — Overlapping Text *2021-01-21* There’s a problem with the text overlapping. It’s too crowded. Please fix and I will update the review. ### 2/5 — Updates complicates *2020-12-17* New “updates” have all the texts mixed and covering each other. Difficult, in fact it’s impossible to see everything on the screen on my cell phone. Even if I turn it sideways it does not change. Update to your heart’s content, but actually make it better and not more complicated. ### 2/5 — Not sure *2019-04-30* Unsure how good of an app it is because as other reviews have stated and been responded too, it appears to be setup through our organization as a link to safari. I would imagine that the only reason this would be the case is because it cost extra.... and if this is true then yes at current state the app is pointless. Also, if this is true then organizations are basically saying it’s not worth the cost for the change to make it all in app. Why else would there even be an option?? If this is a feature that is included and not an up charge then this would be a clear sign of “dropping the ball” by SecureGive and it’s app development team. Free vs. not free maybe..? It technically gets the job done so couldn’t give a one star but I personally haven’t seen an app that functions this way in years. I believe it’s because the ones I’m used to accrue revenue through different avenues such as advertising, in app purchases and upfront app purchasing. Those strategies probably don’t work well with this apps primary customer base. Looking at the review rating average, I would present that it may be in SecureGive’s best interest to incentivize these organizations to “upgrade” therefore increasing the app review rating almost instantly with an update. Only time will tell.... Be blessed **Update** Video of mobile app on the SecureGive website clearly shows a redirection to Safari. It is the old app but still...other apps that are designed for the same purpose don’t redirect to Safari. ### 3/5 — Could be better *2023-11-27* I by all means don’t know what goes into making a app but I do know what is convenient and having your Face ID fail is not convenient as well as it not saving my card info meaning I have to type it in every time I need to use it but it does get the job done is secure if nothing else ### 3/5 — Always login Issues *2023-01-18* Always having problems with login and with being able to choose different organization to give to. There are always issues trying to login, having to reset password, it’s seems I can hardly ever access my account. Once I’ve signed in, I can complete a donation in less than 30 seconds. I also like it that I can quickly repeat my last donation with just a few taps. I just tap to repeat my last donation and I’m done in just a couple seconds. With the new release, I’ve found a couple of bugs. Lately, I’ve had to login twice to get to my account. A little frustrating but not not a deal breaker. Would love to see that fixed but otherwise a convenient way to give to my church. It provides access to past giving.
