So far, it seems the problem was fixed and everything is working properly. ********************* I’ve used this app for years. I’ve recommended to several people, including my IT people. However, now I can’t do anything within the app. It tells me to Log Out and go to the Internet. Up until the last couple of Apple updates it’s been working. I’ve been able to find work arounds and fool the app, which doesn’t comfort me, but it’s very frustrating. The “Login without Internet Connection” tab seems to be the trigger, so you just have to get around that, although I’m not always able to. But I’ve had nothing but problems the last few months with longing on, and now all my passwords have disappeared regardless of how I log in. So hugely disappointing and inconvenient. As many others have noted,can no longer log in via the app on my iPhone or iPad using Face ID or Touch ID. Get error message to go to web version to sign in. This is the only way to log in. I don’t think that my issue was ever even understood. All of the responses only referred to getting my account unlocked (which wasn’t the issue) and never addressed why I was getting repeatedly locked out to begin with. I have been using the app for a couple of years but guess I need to start looking for an alternative. ### 3/5 — Login issues *2025-07-29, version 5.23.0* Have had this app for 23 years and it has been fantastic, until a recent version change. Now the iPhone app is basically unusable, every login attempt I am redirected to the web version for security measures and it doesn’t recognize an internet connection on some WiFi networks. This was identified by a reviewer in February 25 and it still hasn’t been fixed. In addition, the website (including to contact support) defaults to German and the English selection doesn’t work. Within the last year, I continuously get log in error and require me to use Web access. Sometimes requires additional entry of characters to confirm I’m human. Caps come on when you are creating a password. A “tripped security measure” requires you to use the internet instead of the app (making the app almost completely redundant). Somehow, my fingerprint isn’t working as the option to use it has disappeared. One minute I was in, closed the app & a short while later it’s gone. I’ve tried using my password…you’re telling me it wrong. It’s the only one I’ve ever had. Try to get to your customer service…that’s useless, it’s not in English & no one to speak with. I tried creating a new account…I can’t use my same email address I’ve had since the mid 1990s. I have no other email address & don’t want one! Unless you can help me with a live person on the other end of the phone who speaks English, you have just lost a long-time customer. And by the way, my SecureSafe hasn’t worked on my iPhone for over a year but I’m paying you & can’t use anything right now! ### 1/5 — Great FREE app *2026-07-04, version 5.23.0* I’ve been using Secure Safe for at least 5 years and I used to love it. Now I cannot log in, it sends me on a circle of steps and doesn’t accept my log in. I put in my security code (20+ characters) and it didn’t accept that either. I don’t know what is going on but I am now looking for another place to store my passwords. Make sure you set a calendar alerts prior to your term expiring or you won’t be able to access passwords until you pay the ‘ransom.’ Extremely frustrating. They have my money but the app is useless to me. They keep saying they are working on the issue but haven’t fixed it yet. It doesn’t recognize Face ID most of the time. It’s a hassle and not worth the aggravation, and I pay for mine! I have filled in the user name and password a dozen times and several times I get through to the next level with a bunch of letters and numbers, I answer the puzzle and every time it says incorrect user name or password!! I have gone down this same rabbit hole many times where I am locked out of SecureSafe for one or more days and out of the blue I use FaceTime login days later and it logs me in! Which tells me it is your app that is at fault and broken!! This has been happening to me on and off for years. Also wieder volle 5 ⭐️ für eine meiner nützlichsten Apps! Bin seit einigen Jahren zahlender Nutzer von SecureSafe. War immer sehr zufrieden mit der App, aber seit mehreren Monaten erscheint beim Login eine Fehlermeldung und man wird aufgefordert, sich über den Browser anzumelden. Die Webversion ist allerdings nicht für Mobilgeräte optimiert und nur sehr umständlich zu bedienen. Hoffe das Login-problem wird endlich behoben, sonst muss ich mich wohl auf die Suche nach einer Alternative machen.
