Requested to speak with a manager but they won’t do that. Requested that salesperson be disciplined for false promises and to let me know how they were disciplined. They won’t do that either. Don’t trust them. They’ll tell you one thing to get you to sign up and then milk you for all you’re worth without any recourse. The service is very poor, and there is no proper phone number to reach a real person. The automated system keeps answering and wasting our time. I have been trying for over a year to cancel this service, but I have been unable to reach anyone. I do not recommend this service to anyone. They do not respect their customers, and both the employees and supervisors have been unhelpful and unprofessional. My car was broken into, and the cameras were not working when I needed them most. Despite repeated attempts to contact the company, I have not been able to get any assistance. If no one contacts me to resolve this issue, I will consult a lawyer and take legal action. I will seek significant compensation for the damages and the money I have paid for a service that did not work. I often have a problem connecting to the camera when something is happening live so if it says someone is at the door and I go to check it out it often fails to connect. I’m not quite sure how much of this is the app or the cameras. I tried calling tech support but unfortunately they said the cameras were working well so I guess I have to then blame it on the app. ### 1/5 — Would not recommend *2026-04-25, version 5.12.3* Horrible app. Motion sensor often stops working. Majority of Telus apps have terrible Ui. ### 1/5 — Scam artist *2026-03-22, version 5.12.3* Cameras are laggy and poor quality, i had 2 cameras faced into my yard watching my vehicles and someone managed to getting into and steal one of my trucks without a recording or trigger even happening. Yet will record nabourhood cats walking on the street all the time. And when enter the correct credentials it tells me that my password is wrong, it isn’t. I try to log in a few times with no success then all of a sudden it decides to login without me changing anything. That’s brutal. Through MyTelus? Constant redirects that then end up with an error message about migrating credentials but that there are technical issues / for the last 3 months!? Good luck trying to log in - ask for a login link that then takes you to the mytelus portal / good luck trying to navigate my Telus @&$?! Seriously, I’d just like to turn my alarm system on and off through the app - Brutal!! ### 1/5 — Security App *2026-07-03* Not the best security system. Will look into a different system. ### 1/5 — Nothing works properly *2026-06-14* Door bell camera and connectivity rarely works and takes way too long to connect if you want to answer the doorbell from your phone. Overall the application is way too complicated with various rules. The old Bell Smart Home was much simpler and actually worked. ### 1/5 — Misleading and extremely limited experience *2026-06-14* While Telus’s offering is based on Alarm.com platform, the app itself gives what ? 1-2 options compared to the full Alarm.com app. And many detectors go to sleep so where’s the peace of mind for intrusion detection ? Which is the basic purpose of a home security system. Although paying the full monthly price and just to learn that even integration with Alexa is a problem. And the support is somewhere in the world, no one can really tell. Also to make things worse, how can you explain the fact that’s it’s impossible to have chat support while this is a Smart Home connected solution. If I want 6 cameras let me.. if they had a hard drive that everything could record to it would be WAY better but no, it only records if there’s motion. So it’s useless for anything other than someone walking up to your door. If you are considering changing DONT.. I wish I stuck with Vivint.
