(CRITICAL UPDATE!) *2025-07-05* (UPDATE!!) THE APP WILL NOT LET ME LOGIN TO ACCESS MY ACCOUNT!! I use Face ID and a PIN code to get into my account, but as of late every time I login I get greeted with an “error code” on the top of the app in a red rectangular banner and upon looking at the last time the developer had provided any sort of app updates were ten months ago!! I don’t feel really comfortable about leaving my money in the hands of a developer who does nothing but the bare bones minimum, and I’ve never before seen any app update that has been updated longer than a week or two at most!! My dog is dying and I’m in need of a loan! I cannot bear to keep watching my poor buddy suffer and I have tried every troubleshooting technique to no avail. As the title says, I have been a customer and supporter of SecurTrust FCU since the mid 60s when it was called “Greyhound FCU” and it is the most reliable, secure and hassle free way to do my banking and insurance, however I have recently moved to another state where there’s unfortunately no locations where I can go drop off money to deposit into my account, so this app is very helpful to connect to a digital banking platform to transfer my funds to, and the recent addition of utilizing Face ID is a great way to make the app even more secure and refined. There are a couple of things that I would like to see in the near future, which are, 1.) a chat feature to use if I need to request an increase in my spending and withdrawal limit (since I have to pay my rent using money orders) instead of having to call into the office directly 2.) the ability to request a new card in the event that I have to replace a card that has been either lost, stolen or is nearing its expiration date. Overall, I would definitely recommend this app and credit union that anyone who wants away from the hassle and, not so secure modern banks and their hundreds of fees and privacy concerns! Thank you STFCU! ### 5/5 — A very simplistic way of checking your bank balance but need additional security measures. *2023-10-30, version 23.11.1* I have been using SecurTrust fcu “formerly known as greyhound fcu” over 57 years and I couldn’t have asked for a more reliable, professional and friendly credit union. They have treated me like family and have always been extremely supportive and helpful in dealing with any situation that may have. I only have a couple of minor problems and requests for the developer and that’s when I go to log into the application, I see a list of devices that I am supposedly logged into, but I don’t recognize two of them. I have two devices that I know I’m logged into and one that just says “iPhone” and the other says “unknown” which is a bit concerning. The two factor authentication is lacking as well and I’m asking if there’s any way to verify using Face ID or Touch ID to better protect my account from malicious hackers. Other than that I absolutely love the easy to use interface and the customer support.
