## What is Sedge?

Your whole net worth, in every currency you hold — without handing your financial life to anyone.

Sedge is a net-worth and spending tracker built for Europe. Add accounts by hand, import a statement, and see one honest number across EUR, GBP, CHF and more.

ON YOUR DEVICE, NOT OURS
There is no account to create and no server to trust. Everything you enter stays in encrypted storage on your iPhone, unreadable while it's locked. We have no ability to see your balances, because they never reach us. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs of any kind.

MULTI-CURRENCY THAT ACTUALLY WORKS
Hold accounts in euro, sterling, francs, krona, zloty and more. Sedge converts everything at the European Central Bank's daily reference rates — the same rates your bank quotes against — so your net worth is right, not roughly right. Rates are cached, so the number is still correct offline.

IMPORT A STATEMENT IN SECONDS
Bring in CSV exports or PDF statements from EU banks. Sedge reads the file on your device, maps the columns itself, and checks that the transactions add up to the closing balance before importing a single row. If the numbers don't reconcile, it says so instead of guessing. Import the same file twice and nothing is duplicated.

CATEGORIES WITHOUT THE BUSYWORK
Merchants are categorised offline using simple rules — no AI, no cloud, no waiting. Anything Sedge isn't sure about goes to a review card, so you stay in control of what counts as what.

SEARCH AND FILTER YOUR HISTORY
Find any transaction by name, account or category. Days are grouped and totalled, so you can see what a Tuesday actually cost you.

LOCK IT DOWN
Require Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode before your balances appear.

TAKE YOUR DATA WITH YOU
Export everything as CSV for a spreadsheet, or as a full JSON backup, whenever you like. It's your data, so you can always leave with it.

SPEAKS YOUR LANGUAGE
English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish and Portuguese — with amounts and dates in your local format. Change language in Settings without leaving the app.

READ-ONLY, ALWAYS
Sedge can never move your money. It has no payment capability of any kind, by design.
