SedonaFSU allows Schedules and Miscellaneous Appointments to be uploaded to the iPad Calendar for even more productivity. Can’t wait until some new version of iOS breaks this thing even more and any business that uses it has to scramble for something new ### 1/5 — Needs major fix! *2025-08-14, version 2.9.1* This app is only good for the GPS link to know where you’re next job is and opens in a SEPARATE MAPS app. I have several techs that refuse to use Sedona because, more often than not, their notes don’t save to job tickets. Or their times in and out of the job don’t save. If you loose any kind of connection, you are screwed and you don’t even know it. It looks like everything is save, but later, it’s GONE! This app would be a great tool if it had the ability to save locally on your mobile device and then sync with the Sedona server. This must be impossible for their app team to implement because Sedona mobile has been this way for over 8-10 years that I have been working at my current job and had to use this garbage APP! ### 1/5 — Broken *2025-04-10, version 2.9.1* Broken, it’s always last Friday until you reload it ten times in between every action you need to perform. It’s like downgrading from windows to dos. It crashes repeatedly and is overall just a pathetic attempt at app design. ### 1/5 — Not very user friendly *2022-12-21, version 2.9.1* As a technician I should be able to look at the schedule block and get the basic info needed. Or at the very least the the first screen. I shouldn’t have the lock the job and flip through 3 screens to get all the info. When the app launches it automatically jumps into a job. Most of the time the wrong job. When the app is open just bring me to the day so I can see what is on the schedule. Make phone numbers clickable. Especially in the notes. ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2021-06-24, version 2.9.1* This app NEVER works right. Trying to enter times is the most cumbersome thing ever. It would be nice to continue on the same job you were on when you logged out of SedonaFSU. Why I would want to dispatch to the next job BEFORE I finish the first one baffles me. Side note, 5 star rating on the otter box for my iPad, because of SedonaFSU its survived numerous blows and continues to protect the iPad. ### 1/5 — Does not save well *2021-06-10, version 2.9.1* This app does not save my notes on tickets or job at random. I have to completely close the app every time I input notes between every ticket or it will not save my times or notes. Here are listed some of the most important 1) General fixes enhancements ### 2.7.4 — 2018-09-26 The release brings with it several very important additions as well as many fixes/enhancements. Here are listed some of the most important: 1. Credit card additions are now PCI DSS 3.2 compliant. After selecting the green “+” sign during Acceptance, a new Modal form is displayed in a custom web screen. The Modal form is intuitive, easy to use, and will automatically identify the card type as you enter the number. The xDynamo card readers are not 3.2 compliant. However, they will remain available, along with the previous screen(s) for customers who choose to operate in legacy mode. We strongly encourage moving to the latest PCI DSS 3.2 compliant environment however. 2. In order to maintain the privacy of your security resources, all credentials are now encrypted. 3. Items no longer appear in searches if they are not checked as service items in SedonaSetup. In order to provide for a smooth transition, and proper tax calculations, the items are still downloaded however. 4. After entering text, the search items will now appear(in all cases) directly below the text and switching to a new type of search instantly refreshes. For example, you enter “smoke” into the text field while the Part Code is selected. Selecting Description results in a new query with new results immediately. The same is true after selecting to limit the parts to in-stock. 5. You can now upload files above 4MB and they will work as expected. The maximum size is now 16MB. 6. Job notes are now sorted like service notes; newest note on top to oldest towards bottom. 7. If a new accounting period has not been opened, the technician will now receive an error stating what is wrong.. 8. Job Appointments will now show correct end time in calendar. 9. We’ve also re-wrote the entire program so that background threads do not clash with the display of information. Recent changes to Apple’s tools allowed us to track these down and eliminate them. It means a more stable application and less crashing. ### 2.6.7 — 2017-10-26 Included in this release is a correction for an an issue where taxes where not calculating for inactive items. Also a domain issue as well as the crash when re-loading schedules. ### 2.6.6 — 2017-10-12 Updated for latest iOS release.
