My kiddo has loved the augmented reality stuff on Google, so when I saw these advertised as having “augmented reality” I thought he’d love them. What a joke. The app is difficult to navigate even for an adult. Once open, the “AR” is nothing more than launching a black screen with a cheap clip art picture while a voice reads aloud briefly. Then, the app promptly glitches and force quits. All the app does is say the name of the letter. It doesn’t even give you the sound of the letter. I don’t let my kids on technology without me, so it’s really not worth the extra step of having the app involved. ### 1/5 — Waste of time.
