Furthermore, the galleries are listed alphabetically instead of by area or street or a more navigable & intuitive way. This all makes the app pretty useless for planning gallery visits except for the “Opening Today” feature, since most gallery neighborhoods tend to cluster their openings. ### 3/5 — Comprehensive + Frustratingly Dated *2025-07-07, version 35* Hands down the best app for seeing all of the shows in cities like NYC at a glance. While I appreciate a minimal design that keeps the objective of browsing art shows at the top of mind, the app is in serious need of an update. A robust search function would be mightily useful. I like that the app mainly categorizes of shows by borough, but would appreciate more having more filters to categorize by say artist, or by primary medium featured in the show (maybe through some sort of tagging system). And feature that allows you to organize shows into saved “lists” would also give me more agency to choose my own adventure as a user.
