## What is SeeCards?

See Cards lets you join card games without seeing the cards yourself.

Simply place one or more cards in front of your phone’s camera, tap the screen, and the app will read the cards out loud. This makes it possible to participate in card games using audio feedback instead of sight.

The app includes a built-in how-to guide, a camera screen where you tap the on-screen button to scan and read cards, and a settings page that can be accessed from the camera screen. See Cards supports VoiceOver, offers adjustable speech speeds, and is available in both English and Norwegian.

See Cards uses machine learning to detect and recognize playing cards through your camera. The app is trained on a specific card design, so recognition accuracy may vary depending on the type of deck used and the distance between the camera and the cards. For best results, use a deck with clear, standard numbers and test the app before starting a game.

Make sure your phone is not in silent mode, as audio output is required for the app to speak the cards. To make harder for your opponents it is recommended to use the app with headphones.
