Hi Seedly, I’ve been using your app for 3 years now to track and I’ve really enjoyed your functions and the categories that helps me manage my finances. I’ve received alerts saying Facebook login for app is available for 2 days now and I hope you rectify it soon because all my data is inaccessible now … or at least let me export it before you block us off without warning :((

Like the simplicity. But the fact that the app doesn’t work without internet connection is just really annoying. 
1- offline use 
2- ability to save default currency when spending unless changed back (useful when traveling overseas)
3- filter by currency in spending.

App was working fine for the last few months. Got logged out of the app & tried signing in with FaceBook. Error message showing “App not Active: This app is not accessible right now & the app developer is aware of it. You will be able to login when the app is reactivated.” Kindly do something about it please. It has been 2 since & i’m unable to keep track of my expenses.

I used to love this app for its simplicity. I used all sorts of convoluted, fussy tracking apps over the years and always returned to Seedly because it was easy to use, clean, and ad-free. Now, the app immediately opens to a screen where about a third of the space is taken up by “Popular on Seedly” recommendations, which is as good as advertising to me. It ruins the clean interface of the app.

I just downloaded yesterday, very easy to use super fast to record transcations. the only down side is that DBS/POSB banks cant be linked. Nevertheless i will still highly recommend this app for young adults that wants to keep track of their finance, HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I like how it can give an overview of month by month. Bank account sync is good and it’s associated credit card except for Citibank credit card. For Citibank credit card, it only display the total spent without any detail transactions.

Many expenses tracking apps allow the user to turn on an option of recurrence (just like iOS reminders can) so that users can key in mundane and repetitive expenses (monthly rent/fibre/phone bill, etc). Kindly add in these feature soon. Thank you so much! It’ll be a very helpful feature to have.

Mostly fine but would love to see a total amount for all budgets added up, out out monthly income. This still has to be done manually outside of the app. Also, the categories could be further fine tuned for purchases made by credit card and only paid at the end of the month, or even the next month, as my credit card bill includes expenses from various categories all paid one-off once a month.

I love the features of Seedly, however it’s extremely laggy. The app doesn’t load after being opened, regardless of whether I’m using data or wifi. I’ve experienced this on multiple occasions, really hope that the developers will be able to resolve this issue.

Overall, a simple and intuitive interface for tracking expenses into categories but I believe the community would really appreciate a recurring transaction feature! Looking forward to its implementation.

Love the app, use it daily to track my expenses. However it needs to be updated - heats up my phone (iPhone 12) every time I open the app. Also like to bring your attention to a design analysis from Alden Tan via Medium.

Main thing con for me is the failed collaboration with DBS, it's my main savings account and credit card (for commute), but I have to key in manually per use. App has found to be getting progressively lagging, especially when reviewing reports and transactions. After tapping on a type (e.g. Shopping expense), it takes at least a full 3 seconds to switch page, and I'm on home Wifi sitting in front of the modem, and using iPhone 8+ on latest update. App is up to date as well.

The app keeps auto logging out after each use. Despite turning on passcode and Face ID, I have to keep logging in manually with email and password each time I want to use the app. Please fix this issue

- a switch to say if expense paid/to be paid! And income received/to be received! 
- Cashflow overview for end of month: how much income yet to receive + expense yet to be paid
- Calculate networth true liability and assets input

It’s a decent app to help manage finances. But giving it 3 stars as there is no option to set the financial cycle. 

Not everybody’s salary is credited at the start of the month and it is easier to calculate expenses based on the date my salary is credited. 

I will give it full stars if they has that option.

Really poor exception handling in reset of password especially when passwords do not match in the reset page.
Also, every now and then I kept getting locked out and have to perform a login again...
Lastly, is it possible to make the transfer of money between accounts less painful to record?

Being a singaporean, i feel like all the info they give in the app blog really helps me and i always look through community posts to learn new things. however, i think the app could be better with these functions added :

- recurring payments (per month/per year)
- customisable category for expense/income
- offline feature ; not sure if it’s just for me but i can never access the app without wifi or data, making it really inconvenient especially when my data burst 😩
- transfer function should let us have a selection of transferring to which account/cash wallet 
(e.g : from account a to account b) so you don’t have to manually fill in 2 transactions

Solved my 3 months backlog being lazy on excel. Few clicks and all done in 30 mins. Performed better than I expected after reading a few bad reviews. Don’t mind the syncing time as they are accurate. Would love it more if we can have;
1. Customizable categories with nice icons 
2. iPad or tablet version (old man problem on small gadget)
3. Auto sync option 
4. Export reports with easy view for month on month comparisons 
Keep up the good work guys and long live this app!

Have been using this application diligently since 2018 and sad to say that today I would have to leave and switch over to another expense tracking application. 

The new user interface is way too convoluted - clouded with information regarding community posts etc which are unnecessary since this application was meant for expense tracking. The extra step needed to view spending details is just not worth it. This new update was really not it.

After the most recent update, it’s now very cumbersome tracking your expenses. It’s clear the developers want to turn this into a social app that nudges you to take part in their forums and website, rather than the excellent expense tracking app it used to be. 

Worse, you aren’t allowed to export your data. For those with years of tracking stored here, good luck to us — we’re trapped here even though the UI is horrible now.

Don’t get me wrong - I love the content. But, the app is really buggy, especially the “blog articles” section. Whenever I click into an article, 9 out of 10 times it would be “oops, the place you’re looking for does not exist”. I’d have to then go and manually Google search for those articles. Not sure if this is a tactic to get more web traction, but it’s really annoying and inconvenient for someone that wants a quick click and read in app.

Got the app and added all my banks but it only showed one bank. No functionality to view linked accounts to unlink and link again. Nothing to show whether Lim no works. Tried to add bank accounts again but was blocked since I added the first time. However nothing shown. Faulty app. Don’t waste time unless they fix this. Would be better if they have a desktop interface as well.

Downloaded the app on 26 June 2018 and really like the simplicity and the ability to consolidate different bank accounts. 2 days later - sent an inquiry which went unanswered. In early July, noticed balances are correct, but none of the credit card transactions are showing - hence expenses is nil. Sent another request for help via the app - no response. Finally on 11th July, I replied to the welcome email from Co-Founder Tee-Ming telling him the following:

I wanted a budgeting app catered for local use. Deeply disappointed with customer service. Sent 3 emails - zero response.

Great app. But will not recommend to others for zero follow-up and troubleshoot.

He replied asking about the issue - responded. To date - still asking what’s the issue. Screenshot sent - credit card transactions not showing for some banks for July - what more do you need to troubleshoot?

Great app - but pointless if unable to download data point correctly.

Transaction data goes missing, fully or partially depending on the app's mood. Makes it very difficult to track spending. Moreover some transactions get duplicated. I gave this app a second chance after being disappointed once but the updates since were farcical. I would have given this app zero stars if App Store allowed it for the consistent frustration. 

I don't mind it if it is slow as long as the data is complete. Sadly it isn't.

I love(d) this app. Used to go around promoting how beneficial it is for working adults to track our expenses across all banks onto one platform.

With all these recents updates, I lost the ability to sync my DBS account followed by my Citibank account. Now, it seems like the app won’t allow me to sync any banks without it crashing.

I’m sad to say this, but you’ve lost me to PlannerBee.

Can the devs fix this please. 
Plus about recurring expenses option, this isnt the first time someone has pointed that out. They just read and ignore. Whats the point of feedback then?

Completely depend on seedly for tracking my finances now, although syncing is troublesome, for an app that’s completely free, I don’t mind the slight hassle. After all, it’s much easier than having to manually add all my transactions.

Wow finally an app that connects to SG banks. I'm glad it's still free and it works really well. Waiting time to sync bank transactions is understandable due to security issues and overall a great app w/o having to open bank app!

Whenever you’d like, simply auto import your bank and credit card statements. This app will categorise your transactions for you, so you know how much $$$ you are spending on Grab or on eating McDonalds Chocolate Pie.

Beautiful, intuitive design and one of a kind functionality. Why aren’t you using it yet? Everyone I share this app with has loved it!

Tried various expense tracking apps and this is by far the best! Highly recommended for beginners trying to sought out their monthly expenses. The articles section is also extremely helpful! Minor complaint: time to sync transaction data can be shortened. Suggestions: added security for iPhone X by adding FaceID, capability to export monthly expense into excel or pdf, etc. I wouldn’t mind paying for such a great app but I’m glad it’s still free!
