## What is Seeing Color?

Seeing Color brings ICC Profile Visualization and Analysis to the the mobile platform.
Using Seeing Color you can render ICC profiles in 3D as color gamuts or primary and overprint "spider plots".

With full control over rendered profile transparency you can use Seeing Color to understand where your critical colors may fall out of the printable gamut of devices you are using.

Not only can Industry standard CxF3 files be imported to plot overtop of your profiles, but you can make use of bluetooth connected measurement devices from Nix Color Sensor to measure real-world color to plot against your color gamuts, and convert through an ICC profile to reveal the best match device values and qualify printing compatibility.

Seeing Color supports the Nix Mini 2, Nix Pro 2, and the groundbreaking Nix Spectro 2, a true 31-band spectrophotometer that fits in your pocket and delivers professional-grade precision and accuracy.

For your convenience Seeing Color comes pre-installed with an assortment of standard profiles that are publicly available at https://www.color.org. You can also tailor Seeing Color to your needs by importing your own through iCloud Drive or any other means you have to share files with your iOS device.

Mobile apps are best when they evolve quickly. Don't forget to share feedback so that Seeing Color can grow to meet your specific needs. You ask, we deliver.

### 5/5 — Super useful app!

*2021-11-28*

This app allows you to view ICC profiles in 3D. You can compare any profiles/color spaces to visualize the gamut of each and understand your color capabilities. The app comes with a few popular CMYK standard profiles but you can add your own, you just need to gather them from your computer and upload them to Apple iCloud, Dropbox, or Google Drive and you can access them thru the app from there.

You can also add your own CxF files. These are spot color measurements. The app will plot the colors from the CxF file in 3D and allow you to visualize if the color is in or out of gamut for any ICC profile (camera, monitor, printer).

Very helpful and a steal for the price.
