### 3/5 — Was great, but no updates

*2023-05-05, version 3.4.6*

This was a great app. I’m an SLP and I have used this app for years. It is good for all sorts of lessons - I have used it for teaching vocabulary, sentence structure, pronouns, and even for teaching play scenarios with Fisher Price little people. Unfortunately, they’re no longer updating this app and I fear that it may stop working when Apple updates. Minor portions of the app no longer work - I cannot download libraries anymore (luckily I had downloaded most of their libraries already, but new users might not be able to get all the photos that are supposed to come with the paid version of this app. Also, the community section no longer works - users can no longer share lessons they’ve created, which is something I really miss.
This was a 5 star app, but I’ve knocked the rating down to 3 stars due to the lack of updates. I can no longer recommend it because $50 dollars is a lot to spend when it seems likely that this app will not function for much longer due to the lack of updates. Also, they no longer respond to questions or offer any tech support.

### 4/5 — Great concept

*2020-01-11, version 3.4.6*

I love this program and have used it in my classroom for years. I just wish they would put in some effort and fix glitches that are known and have been happening for years. Such as the password for play mode will not always stay letting students into the programming side. Also downloading from the community is not always seamless. I recently upgraded to the $50 version, that’s a lot of money for glitches.

### 4/5 — Slow lesson prompts since update?

*2017-05-04, version 3.4.2*

I love this app and use it daily during my speech therapy sessions and for informal assessment. After installing the update this morning, the audio prompts now play super slowly! I can't see how to modify it back to jot all anywhere in the settings tab.... then I could go back to rating it 5 stars!

### 4/5 — Great for SLPs

*2014-10-24, version 3.3.1*

Wonderful pictures for a variety of uses and skill levels. Students enjoy it.

### 4/5 — Love almost everything about it.

*2014-10-24, version 3.3.1*

Love the app! I use it all the time with my preschool students. So easy to create your own lessons. Wish you could keep data on multiple students.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2014-09-24, version 3.3*

See.Touch.Learn Pro is my best tool for many of my clients. A client who moves quickly through levels of a concept? Add some higher-order thinking exercises to deepen understanding. A client who isn't making the leap from one level to the next? Create a bridge lesson or two.

A lot of apps claim to have ready lessons supplied by users. But after I buy the app, I often discover that the results are feeble -- the lessons are disappointing, and there usually aren't many. See.Touch.Learn Pro has TONS of lessons that I can use straight away or modify for individual students.

I have needed to contact support at times. The responses have always been quick, although allowing time for a non-canned response, and the issue is usually handled within a single email. Other developers have responded more quickly to my queries, but often my issue isn't fully addressed without repeated back-and-forth contacts.

Worth every penny to have exactly what I need when I need it (usually now!).

### 4/5 — Very helpful!

*2014-09-13, version 3.3*

I would like to give this app 4.5 stars. I am able to create lessons that keep my targets current without sorting through and toting around lots of flash cards. Also, love the community library! Only issue ~ high battery usage.

### 5/5 — Pro

*2014-09-13, version 3.3*

Awesome app! Lots of flexibility. Finding the new navigation system for creating lesson a bit confusing, but determined to work through it. Appropriate for multiple populations. As a Speech Pathologist I use it for all sorts of lessons.

### 5/5 — Lallspaugh

*2014-09-09, version 3.3*

Love the real pictures and the ability to create amazing vocab activities!!

### 5/5 — Ms. B

*2014-09-08, version 3.3*

As a professional educator, I find "See, Touch,Learn" to be a fantastic app. I use it on a daily basis with my students. Having to travel from class to class, I find that being able to have all my photos, words, and flash cards in such a small, tidy package is priceless.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Crashes all the time

*2023-04-04, version 3.4.6*

I am a ABA therapist and use this app for multiple clients. The concept is amazing however, the app crashes constantly and the community feature very rarely loads. Please fix these problems!

### 1/5 — Great app... Replaces so many flash cards!

*2022-08-01, version 3.4.6*

Updated: 2022 I’m disappointed that this app is no longer getting updates. I have reached out to the developer and they told me back in 2021 that a newer version was coming… and still nothing has happened. I would not recommend someone purchasing this app at this point. If it gets updated then it is definitely an amazing app that I use almost daily! I hope that they can resume giving this product some attention.

I love this app. I use it with my elementary students with autism. I like that there are so many pictures available for me to use, the hundred first words and action words are my favorites. Plus with the ability to now use my own pictures and words I can customize this app even more. Right now I am practicing identifying students in our class and I can put in their pictures, plus type in their names. This saves me so much time. In the past I would make my own flash cards to use. But this makes my lessons easy and portable. The students are also drawn into the fun of using the iPad to do some of their work with me. I recommend this app to anyone working with students.

### 1/5 — Deleted all my lessons and no way to contact developer

*2022-02-23, version 3.4.6*

I have been using this app successfully for many years. Recently my iPad required me to reload it and when that happened everything I’ve made disappeared. When trying to log in The password isn’t working, so I sent a request to resend my password and it’s never been emailed to me. So at this point I have no way of contacting anyone in order to reset my password to open the account and hopefully find all of my lessons and the pictures that I’ve uploaded. I’m hoping that by doing this review someone will reach out to me. In the past I would’ve given this app more stars, however with the current issues it’s definitely less than one star because I can’t use it functionally any longer. I am a pro user and was not able to find that particular app to re-download in the App Store and had to go through my old apps to find it again. I’m hoping the developer has not stopped updating this app if anyone has any information please let me know.

### 1/5 — Glitchy

*2019-01-02, version 3.4.6*

I loved this app when I first got it and still love the concept however the app has become extremely glitchy and whenever I reach out to support there is no response.

### 1/5 — Difficult

*2014-11-22, version 3.3.1*

We have a problem downloading from our library and creating lesson with these.. Maybe the program is to difficult for what we need it for..we just want to put pictures from the library 2or3 and have my daughter choose...it just is difficult to get the photos into a lesson.

### 2/5 — Lack of Support

*2019-05-30, version 3.4.6*

This app does not get updated. I reached out to customer support about some issues and feature requests and they haven’t done anything to remedy the situation. The last update was well over a year ago so if you choose to invest in this product, know you won’t get much if any support for any issues that will occur.

### 2/5 — Poor after update

*2014-12-02, version 3.3.1*

Use this app daily in therapy but now the pictures don't show up when playing my lesson. Very upsetting.

### 2/5 — STL feedback

*2014-11-19, version 3.3.1*

I love STL but the older version is much better and much easier to program. I find the new update ( we updated by mistake as we didn't want to change the format for our daughter) and the new STL takes a computer degree to program. Can you re-launch the older app for busy parents who have limited programming time and knowledge.

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2014-10-09, version 3.3.1*

I have used this app regularly in my SDC Autism class until last week. It suddenly became impossible to access the library so I was forced to perform the upgrade to 3.0. I immediately lost all the cards I had created over the last 3 years as well as all the lessons I had created and downloaded from the community. I am very disappointed to have to spend hours recreating them.

### 2/5 — Upgrade not working

*2014-09-25, version 3.3.1*

I have updated to the most recent edition after the OS update. I am able to select the photos but they do not show up on the lesson when I try to play the lesson. I have loved this program in the past and hope that these glitches get fixed.

### 5/5 — My Go to App

*2017-07-25, version 3.4.6*

Great app. Has everything I need at every level. Absolutely love it!

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2015-11-13, version 3.4*

I teach a multiple disabilities class and my students and I love this app. I especially like the ability to make my own lessons. Thank you!!!

### 5/5 — Great App and Better Price!

*2015-06-12, version 3.4*

Thanks to Brain Parade for making this app much more affordable. With all the costs associated with raising a child with special needs, this is much appreciated!

### 5/5 — Great therapy tool

*2015-01-20, version 3.3.1*

I would recommend this as a tool for teachers and therapist, very easy to make lessons for specific goals and import your own images. Worth the money, the developers are responsive to questions and sent me instructions when I needed help. Thank you

### 5/5 — Terrific app

*2014-10-25, version 3.3.1*

As an SLP, I am always looking for apps to use with my students. This may be the best app I've used. It's easy to navigate and very user friendly. Easy to pull out and use.

### 5/5 — Great

*2014-10-25, version 3.3.1*

My kids love this ap.

### 5/5 — Great app for ESL teachers

*2014-10-24, version 3.3.1*

This app is ideal for selecting images to pre-teach vocabulary for reading selections, as well as teaching general basic vocabulary relating to virtually any topic. Photo libraries are available to select and create lessons and activities, and you can even use your own images or images you find and save from other sources. There is a community of contributors adding activities and lessons, which is very helpful. Their lessons can be duplicated and modified to meet your students' needs. This program can save you hundreds of dollars since you won’t have to order picture cards, which usually end up bending and getting damaged. Best of all, you can save your lessons and modify them year after year.

### 5/5 — The app I use the most!!

*2014-10-14, version 3.3.1*

I use this app in nearly every speech therapy session because it is so versatile!!! The lessons can be general or very specific to an individual child. I have had this app since its infancy, and it has grown tremendously!! Thank you.

### 5/5 — Great

*2014-10-07, version 3.3.1*

Great app. Easy to use. Good with all ages.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2014-10-02, version 3.3.1*

I couldn't ask for a better app to make customized lessons for my students. It allows me to change settings for each student, one more or take away choices, import my own vocabulary so that we can work on IEP goals as well as curriculum access. Great for practice and data collection! Thanks for the great classroom tool.
