This update is mostly about treating a photo like a print, not a slide. Albums, On This Day, similar piles, journeys — they all open the same memory editor now. Photos sit on a card. Place names speak the language you picked. A Live Photo that arrives with you only hints; tap LIVE if you want the whole moment. Videos start quiet, the progress line lives on the picture, and the mute button finally agrees with the speaker. Home got a little kinder too. Closing a folder doesn’t hitch. The calendar no longer steals the tab bar’s seat on the way in or out. Travel map pins used to redraw themselves into a sweat; they now behave like stickers. You won’t miss the overtime. In Memories, screen-shaped stills fill the page the way vertical videos already did. Fair’s fair. We also walked a few leftover policies to the door. They will not be in the group chat.
