Explore our online Siddur, Torah, Tanakh, Tehillim, and so much more. 
We are taking the People of the Book into the digital age, and with just 500 MB you can download the entire library to access all texts offline. 

Our interface is simple and user-friendly: delve deep into the texts with the swipe of a finger. Get information on specific topics, such as Passover - the next holiday on our calendar, Daf Yomi, search using keywords, or browse the table of contents to explore texts, translations, and commentaries, and explore the connections between works in the library.

I’d love to see an Apple Shortcuts action for invoking a search inside Sefaria so I can integrate it with other search functions on my device.

This app amazes me the more I use it. I’m a “gentile Christian” or follower of Yeshua but I use this since the texts and rabbis and sages are incredibly important and valuable—and this app has everything. Even with my background and going in blind, it has great resources included that help you understand how to read and learn from the texts as well as give amazing biographies on who has written. It’s incredibly organized, easily searchable, and I feel like again; I find something new or different about it whether the ability to make changes in fonts and written language between English, Hebrew, or both together—it’s great, and then easy verse by verse parallels to various texts and authors when to tap to select the verse. Incredible app, incredible resource, and I can’t believed it’s offered for free! Amazing work Sefaria, thank you!

Sefaria is extraordinary.   A very effective and easy to use library of so many Jewish texts that I find fascinating and often inspiring.   It’s free to use but I have often donated to the site because what it is providing is just so good and helpful to my study.

I love this app more than any other app that’s like it - nearly everything you need just a search away. I do however have one request, and that is a dark mode for night time/dim lighting reading because otherwise the app can be unwieldy to read even with the screen dimmed.

rashi on proverbs 8 crashes the phone. it says the internet connection is bad and that you need to restart the app and delete it and redownload
