These occurred when cooking, walking, and even when my Apple Watch was not on my wrist. ### 2/5 — Payment issues *2026-07-07, version 6.6.0* Adding to a previous review and removing some stars because the renewal process via Apple was really atrocious, initial payment rejected by either Apple or my carrier and now I’ve set up a new plan and not entirely sure if the app will work. Also, there are far to many plan options with little to no advice on the difference. It’s confusing that some reviews highly commend this app and others have the same experience as me. ### 1/5 — Monitoring constantly offline *2025-04-16, version 6.0.18* We tried to use this app to monitor my son who has epilepsy via an Apple Watch. Almost every morning we would get an alert from the app saying that monitoring was off-line. It would typically be off-line for most of the day. Zero stars. ### 1/5 — The most corrupt lowlifes in the history of civilisation *2024-12-23, version 6.0.13* So I have been having seizures in the night recently and we decided to get this app to alert my family members not only did I have a seizure and it didn’t alert anyone it alerted them when I wasn’t having one so we contacted a team member they gave us instructions and we couldn’t get anything to connect even though we followed his advice word for word it is crazy that they charge 200 quid a year for an awful over complicated Watch app don’t be fooled by what google tells you about this app this app is TERRIBLE ### 1/5 — Family sharing *2024-12-01, version 6.0.13* I am sick and tired of constantly deleting the seizure app on my phone and watch, because on my watch comes up family sharing, and asked if I want to share, but I hit no it keeps spinning and spinning, and nothing happens. Therefore, I have to delete everything and reinstall it and later on the day, I have to do it all over. Please get this software glitch fixed. I cancel my prescription!👹 ### 2/5 — Drains Battery *2024-10-18, version 6.0.13* I have recently started having seizures and wanted to find something that could track when I have a seizure, how long it lasts and contact my family so they could make sure I am safe. This app does all of that which is good, however I have had to delete it as it drains my battery so much that it can’t even last through the night when starting at 100%. This means it might not catch a seizure I have in the morning (which is when I tend to have one), and my watch will no longer be able to track my sleep and heart rate or act as my alarm to wake me up in the morning. Great idea for an app, it’s a shame the battery draining is too big of a problem for me to ignore. ### 2/5 — Don’t bother if you have focal seizures *2024-10-06, version 6.0.12* Sends me hundreds of false alarms, when I check on my Daughter, she’s fine! Then, tells you if you want to keep using it you have to pay over $200 which is unaffordable when chronic health costs you your job. So poor people cant be safe. They need to make it link with fitness apps so it recognises the difference. They also meed to make it affordable for everyone. Kind of savage to have to pay for this… ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2026-06-29, version 6.6.0* I had a 7.5 minute TC seizure with a a heart rate that exceeded 157 BPM. The watch and phone are new and set up for most sensitive. It caught nothing and alerted no one. My husband was home so HE caught it and intervened. Would not recommend. We checked all settings from phone to watch to the app itself. So I have no idea how long she has not been monitored. This is beyond unacceptable. They have put her at risk. We use this watch to give her some freedom but now she no longer will have that. She’s had two seizures and the app detected nothing, so her Mother and I never received an alert. I’d rather go get a seizure dog instead that’s outrageous! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — So far the best Seizure Monitoring App for Apple *2026-06-09, version 6.6.0* I’ve been using this app for a couple of years now after trying a few others and also the Empatica device. So far this is the best I’ve had. Yes it does pick up on false seizures from movement of your hand like washing hands or scrubbing dishes, or if you’re moving over rough terrain. However so long as you stop the alert fast enough, it’s all good! I don’t mind the odd one here or there. The fact that I can add an indefinite number of carers on and switch them off as needed is awesome! The app synced to my Apple Ultra 2 watch no problem. My only issue is that with the new update came the snooze monitor - what is it? You do t have any info on it in your tips or FAQs. ### 5/5 — Seizure 2/21/26 *2026-02-24, version 6.5.1* My fiancé had a seizure while I was at work. I got the distress alert from this app and tried calling him to make sure it wasn’t a false alarm. Well he didn’t answer his phone so I went into panic mode. My neighbors were able to get into my house and confirmed that my fiancé did have a seizure. I’m very thankful that this app works. She’s 20 and wants to do things and this will give her more independence. I don’t know how we coped without it. ### 5/5 — Peace of mind *2024-12-23, version 6.0.13* After years of broken sleep and bed sharing with our young son this app has brought so much peace of mind. We have tried many different devices but due to his small size and weight had no success. This app and Apple Watch was our last resort and has been life changing to us. This app has allowed us to catch seizures in the very early stages and has given my little one some independence back at bed time. In the early stages we had a few false alarms but this is what allowed us to set the perfect parameters. This app is now part of our nightly routine and our whole household sleeps so much better. Sometimes after a seizure I have trouble opening the app and navigating to the home page. It just happened and keeps happening. I found out about this app in one of my sz groups on fb and decided to give it a try . It has made it a lot easier for myself , my husband and my daughter. They didn’t want to leave me by myself. The watch has alerted them several times about me having a sz . Yes it does kill the watch battery quickly . I don’t have to wear it at night because I sleep next to my husband . So he feels when I have a sz . They feel better letting me sleep in and not waking me up in the early morning . I just put my watch on when I take my 6am dose of keppra . I’ve had 25 sz in 3 weeks . And 10 in the 2 week trial . We are going to keep it because it gives us a peace of mind .
