## What is Selah?

Ask anything. Rooted in Scripture.

Selah is a calm, beautiful companion for reading the Bible and bringing life's real questions to it. Ask in your own words — Selah searches Scripture first, then offers a thoughtful reflection that always points back to the text, with the verses quoted and its sources shown.

DESIGNED TO BE TRUSTWORTHY

Verse text is never invented. Every quotation is fetched verbatim from a trusted Bible database — if a reference can't be grounded, it's dropped rather than made up. The AI's reflection is clearly separated from Scripture, in its own type and label, so you always know what is God's word and what is commentary.

ECUMENICAL AND NEUTRAL

Selah is written for everyone. Where traditions differ, it shows the range rather than quietly picking a side — no hidden bias dressed up as neutrality.

READ THE WHOLE BIBLE, OFFLINE

The complete 66-book canon in five openly licensed translations (English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese), bundled for true offline reading — no connection required. A quiet, sacred reading view with adjustable text size. Long-press any verse to ask about it, or save it.

YOUR READING JOURNEY

See how far you've come. As you read, the whole canon fills in like an illuminated mosaic — and the passages you return to glow deeper. Gentle, never a guilt-tripping streak.

READ TOGETHER

Start a group and read the Bible with family and friends. Anyone can join with an invite code. See who read today and what they read, and pray for one another. No one compares pace. No chat, no public counts. Choose from ten reading plans.

TOOLS FOR READING

Search the Bible by passage or by word. Highlight verses and keep notes to return to later. Listen to a chapter read aloud. Get the morning verse at the time you choose.

CALM BY DESIGN

Warm paper-and-ink design, considered typography, light and dark themes, and full support for five languages. Accessibility-minded throughout.

HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT IS

Selah is an AI companion. It leads you to Scripture; it does not replace it, and it is not a source of spiritual, medical, or psychological advice. It never claims authority of its own.

Reading the Bible in Selah is free, always — every translation, every book, your saved verses and the verse each morning. Free readers also get 3 grounded answers a day.

SELAH PLUS (OPTIONAL)

Selah Plus is for going deeper: ask as much as you want, every day. It also keeps Selah independent — no ads, and we never sell your data.
